MH370 pilot switched off oxygen supply to kill himself in the SIXTH example of 'suicide flights', according to Kiwi Airlines boss

Quote
The pilot of the missing MH370 flight killed himself and his passengers by switching off the oxygen supply in what is the sixth example of such a suicide, according to an aviation expert.

Ewan Wilson, head of Kiwi Airlines, believes Zaharie Ahmad Shah planned mass murder - locking his co-pilot out of the cockpit, depressurising the cabin and shutting down all communication links before turning the plane around.

Having examined all other possibilities, Mr Wilson insists that Shah, 53, is responsible for the deaths of the 227 passengers and 12 crew members on board the doomed Malaysian Airlines flight, which disappeared on March 8.

I'm more inclined to believe that it landed somewhere and is being repurposed for a terrorist attack.  It still seems too strange that no credible debris was ever found.

I work with a guy whose dad is a captain on a 777 for a major airline and he told me that is the commonly held belief by his dad and several of his dad's colleagues.

I'm glad to know that better informed people might be thinking the same thing.

Supposedly, it is the opinion of the Pentagon as well.

Until the wreckage is found it's not unsafe to assume the worst.

I'm not too trusting of the Malaysian government either. In the beginning of the whole mess they seemed to be covering up the truth or at least misdirecting investigators.

Sounds like the Obama Administration.

I am not suggesting you are wrong, but as a point of reference, we are looking for at best a KM of debris in a possible 5,300 KM radius, resulting in a search area of 88.2 MILLION KM.  So your chances of finding something is 1/88.2 million or a 0.0000000114 chance of actually seeing debris.

I am going with Occam's Razor on this one -- the plane crashed in a hitherto undiscovered place.

I don't think the the odds are that small given the search effort that was mounted.

They are going with some deductive logic -- you can't really search 80 million KM.  So you start looking at small things that might provide hints as to where you should be looking.  It is closer to how they find the crab on "Deadliest Catch."

But the gross probabilities are as I stated.

I think that MH370 went to some remote corner, perhaps either Africa or Burma. Burma never said anything about detecting MH370.
