Is there a DUer who just disappeared that you miss?
Today, two longtime members announced that they are stepping away, and this has led to some discussion about the so-called "GBCW" threads. Some have suggested that the threads serve, if nothing else, the purpose of letting DUers know that the poster has left the group, and relieves any anxiety over whether they are sick or dead. OTOH, some DUers have just fallen away. "Prosense" is a name that came up in another thread. I'm sure there are others.
If you are wondering where a DUer went, post the name here. Perhaps some posters know "...the rest of the story." Perhaps others are as mystified as you are.
A very long thread, with lots of primitives mentioned, but they're all lumpenunterprimitiven, PonP (primitives of no prominence), primitives who don't count anyway, excepting one.

I was surprised no primitive's mentioned missing dear old sweet Lu of the cooking and baking forum; she's been gone longer than nadin, and as hostess, she has certain responsibilities to hang around. Obviously, she's neglected those responsibilities.
I do see however in today's "what's for supper?" thread there, that some of the primitives have sent her personal messages, asking what she's up to, why she hasn't been around.

During the recent blossoming of Jew-hate at the DUmp, brought on by Israel converting a few foul-smelling muzzies into a fine, foul-smelling pink mist, nutcase nadin suddenly became a devout Jew.
Since about eighty percent of the DUmpmonkeys are Jew-haters, some wild kerfunkles developed, and the round mound of wisdom got a bunch of hidden posts.
So she waddled off into the DUmp sunset, vowing never to return.

The death of Tangerine LaBamba in December 2009 was a pretty big event on Skins's island, provoking a great deal of discussion and controversy.
It would've been hard, if not near impossible, to miss it.
And yet here's a primitive who's not aware she died?
This reminds me of a complaint a lumpenunterprimitiven made about the DUmpster a few years ago; that we "know" more about the primitives than the primitives do themselves.
If that's truly the case, the reason "why" should be obvious.
When the primitives go to Skins's island, they selfishly look at only themselves, no others. They're not interested in other primitives, only themselves.
We on the other hand, being interested in what other people are like, feel, and think, look at them all.
That's surely one of the major differences between the primitives and decent and civilized people.
