I miss RainDog.

Yeah, I'm sad about Robin Williams, too, but RainDog was my friend, I didn't know them very much but on DU we both spent a lot of time talking about marijuana legalization. They were my friend. I only have a few here who really agree with me on important issues. It's just sad, and I miss them, and I hope, hope, things get better on that issues we both most agreed upon. If only in their memory.

Sorry for the sad post, if you take it that way, but me and RainDog, we really spread the message (just google me and RainDog, we were on top of it). I like to think RainDog was instrumental on my activist efforts to get it legalized in Colorado. I hope they knew that, because I never told them how much they meant to me and how they influenced me. They did it. I worked a lot to get it legalized in 2012, and I don't know if I would have were it not for RainDog's posts here. They gave me hope.

RIP RainDog, my friend, and influence. We had spats on other issues but this was one issue we really connected.

If the RainDog primitive was that heavy into pot, does she even know she's dead yet? That's got to be a very harsh mellow when she does.

2. She was, IMO, a noble soul who had conviction, and followed thru on it.

To be truthful, she and I disagreed, sometimes a tad strongly, on a certain few issues, but I could always tell that she was very sincere, and had her heart in the right place. Wherever she is now, I hope she's enjoying herself.

Drugs in the afterlife? I guess anything's possible.  Smoking a bowl with Jerry Garcia would probably be heaven to a primitive.

12. Thanks so much.

I have my issues and I've dealt with them and I'll never go that route, so, you can expect me around for as long as this website exists. That's how it goes. It's just been sad for me, lost my favorite guy (loved, absolutely loved "The Crazy Ones") and my favorite DU poster. I kind of bottled it in when we found out they were lost, but it's sort of sinking in now. It's one thing to be bothered by a celebrity being lost, it's another thing someone you've talked to on a regular basis throughout a political campaign who was directly influential.

I just hope other DUers know how great and influential they were to other people, that's what'd make me smile and be happy about the whole thing.

Don't give up hope! Maybe one day you'll make it into the big leagues!  Your life won't be getting any better, I promise.

How did Raindog off herself?  Was it for chronic pain?

Sounds like for being a chronic pain in the ass.

You know, every time I go to the primitive mortuary

http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=inmemoriam

I feel as if I'm visiting Lenin's tomb all over again.

I notice however the primitives still haven't commemorated the mountain man primitive, the "ThomWV" primitive, even though he was very popular in his time.

Well that's it then the website has to go.

Like walking along the beach at sunrise,it brings a smile to ones face to see all the dead DUmbasses.
One can only hope that becomes the fastest growing forum on the island.

With the legalization trend, the domestic violence from "alternative" marriages, and societal acceptance of deviant behavior, it's almost a certainty.

How worthless does one have to be that pot legalization is your pinnacle in life?

How worthles?,  well here in Colorado Springs,  You only see dispensaries in the low income areas of the city. Usually in the spots with the largest homeless concentrations. You don't see them in the upper middle class areas of town populated by what I imagine to be successful people. Coincidence?

There is one thing you have to concede to DUmp democrats.

After they die, they're usually pretty good at staying dead.

The only exception is the Cleveland ward heeler, who was officially pronounced dead by the CalPig two months ago, yet endlessly lingers on, siphoning hard-earned cash from the Ohio taxpayer.

You may say it's just another example of the CalPig's judgment

(That was an excellent move, my dear DainBramaged!}
but damn it, when a DUmmy is declared dead by an experienced healthcare worker, he should have the decency to stay dead.
