Title: Just got back from seeing Guardians of the Galaxy...
Post by: Zathras on August 11, 2014, 02:38:11 AM
for the second time. If you have not seen this great film as of yet, make sure you do so ASAP. It has a great cast and the CGI is top notch with Rocket Raccoon and Groot. My favorite character is Rocket....Bradley Cooper did a knockout performance voicing the character. And make sure you stay till the end of the credits for a unexpected surprise.

Thanks for the review.  I'll probably go see it once I get off the road.

I will never be off the road.  I will have to wait for it to be available on Netflix.

The last movie I saw in a movie theater was "Tron: Legacy" in 2010.  Before that I think it was around 1997.

I have you beat. The last movie I saw in a theater was "Conspiracy Theory" with Mel Gibson.

Holy crap -- 1997 (you forced me to IMDB but you knew that).

Theaters just aren't very fun when you can watch at home.

Buying a DVD is cheaper than going to the theater and these days the DVD's come out a few months after the theatrical release anyway.
