For every action there is a reaction, equal and in the opposite direction......except when you do something stupid like try to slap some sense into a DUmmie's head....your stupid action does not raise the intelligence of the DUmmie......Newton was wrong, he never had to contend with DUmmies.

These people really don't get it. You boost minimum wage too high and this is what you get. In a good number of cases it's either that tax or letting some employees go to reduce overhead.

DUmmies want a $100,000.00 a year salary for part time work and 1960's priced 15 cent hamburgers and 19 cent cheeseburgers.

Yep.  Raising the minimum wage across the board raised every input across the board, not just the store labor...it goes into the price of every new piece of equipment, every pound of beef, every case of buns, every case of fries, every bag and cup, every kilowatt-hour the store uses, etc., etc., etc.  Pretty soon the people getting $15 per hour start bitching about how it isn't really a living wage...

Wade Luneburg of the MN State Council of UNITE HERE Unions told the Star Tribune this week. “Putting [minimum wage] fees on tickets and passing the cost on to consumers directly is strange at best.........,

Do they really wonder why we call them DUmmies ?

A Jr. Whopper was $10 in Alaska... in 1996. SOON, YOU WILL ALL KNOW MY PAIN!  :bawl:

... seriously though, minimum wage hikes are nonsense. You'll get the below-average fry cooks fired, and then they'll become hipsters. Assuming they weren't already.

When everything gets delivered by boat, prices skyrocket.

The last time I was in Alaska, retail was 75% or more what it cost back home.
