What would you say to some mandatory civility?
Before I go any further, yes. I was a master of incivility for years. I am no longer so and haven't been since day one of DU3.
I've been more off DU than on for the last 6 months or more, mostly because of politics overload. Instead of DU, I have been frequenting a few non political focused-interest/hobby sites. On all of them, there is a low tolerance for off color posts, disrespectful posts, etc.
On one of them there is a near zero tolerance for incivility and anything more than PG humor. Even the word "damn" is not permitted. Not even "d**n" or "^%$*&!" are allowed. The result is that the topics matter and the discussion stays on topic. When one joins the site, one is presented with a list of rules. One must pledge to abide by the rules or face having their membership revoked.
While that sounds harsh, the fact is no one is forced to join. One voluntarily subjects oneself to self-censorship. The result is a very relaxing online experience.
Anyway, just some thoughts.

1. Sounds like DU2.
No thanks.
Was DU2 known for its civility? I don't get Skinners response.

I believe that the example cited by Coach would be a 'no.' :whistling:  :fuelfire:
Rumor has it his recent absence has been due to domestic strife with his trophy wife Sparkly, a dilletante decades his junior.
This vintage mash up is DUmpilishious

Followed YOUR LINKS AND FOUND SOME REALLY INERESTING LINKS TO BELLY DANCERS AND THE BAND Santeria and the Black Magic Woman.
How do these people ,woman and men in some cases find the time to practice these what should be Olympic sports ?
I am most impresses with the dancers, as I was in Hawaii with the kids that did all the others have done but did more. One has to check out the competitions among the schools in Hawaii for the dance they recreate from the past culture.
