He was interviewed on Fox and they asked him about the Oooobama campaign attacking him for dressing down Clark. The Ooooobama campaign focused on Day's involvement with the Swift Boat Vets.
Col. Day talks about how McCain was in such bad shape when he crashed in Viet Nam and that they didn't think he would live long at all. He basically said that McCain was too tough to die and that they went on to become good friends.
He then said that Wesley Clark was attempting to propagandize and trivialize McCain's service and that he (Clark) beat a hasty retreat and did the smart thing when he put his foot in his mouth, he jerked it out.
He also said that the Swift Boat Vets were speaking the truth about Kerry and that Clark was full of it.
