According to Senate disbursement records,  Harry Reid (D-Nev.) almost never goes home. He has visited his home state the least of any senator in the last three years. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), and Sen. Tim Johnson (D-S.D.) rount out the top three who are too busy to visit with the little people.

I wouldn't want to go to Searchlight NV either.

Nearly all of the land had been in Reid’s family for decades, much of it originally deeded to his father and some bought by Reid from family members. His brother will continue to live in Searchlight, where Reid will also retain some holdings.

Maybe they want him to be out of the state as much as possible. I know I would.
