Some thoughts on Team Blue and Team Red...
Team Blue (Not necessarily the case, but hey, we are dealing with cartoon images here)
Hates Republicans
those who vote against their economic interests
those who lack an education
those who live in the country side
Gun owners
I could go on
Team Red (Again not fully true, but we are dealing with cartoons here)
Hates immigrants
the poor
workers
democrats
communists.
I could go on.
So while all you point at each other and tell us who you hate, the autocrats are laughing all the way to the bank. They love it that way. You blame people who, for the most part, has no power to change things by just screaming, Neither do you by the way, but they love it. You keep this up, and insult people and play cute games. You know what? Those who are in power are laughing at you. This is exactly what useful idiots do.
It is ok as long as my team is in power, but when my team is no longer in power, I will then complaint about what my team was doing, because now it is the other guy. (Some of us actually have core principles and have been complaining about the destruction of the 4th amendment since the Patriot Act, we haven't changed in our criticism)
It is frustrating as hell, but why keep fighting what we cannot change? Or rather what we don't want to change, or have been hit so many times, will not really do what we need to do to change.
The last thing those who actually run the show want is for all of you to stop screaming at each other for a second, and realize that well, the other side might have a point. (In some things there is no debate, no, team blue and team red are not going to cancel gravity, ok), but in some there is.
Funny, I was talking today to a European reporter... we even have European news caring about my city, that was funny as hell, given the rest of the country does not, and we would be best if we just fell to the sea, and just went away. But we were talking how things are very different in Europe... and the cartoonish image many of you have of other places in the world. He was puzzled by one thing I am no longer puzzled, I get it. That is the submissiveness of Americans. While here we beg, national strikes would already be happening.
So do continue to scream at each other and hate each other. It is really funny and is going to lead nowhere.
So while you laugh and scream at each other... the powerful are laughing all the way to the bank.
Now I got some writing and video processing and all that shit to do...and yes, doing something many of my fellow reporters do not do... look at actual policy.

5. You know what is hilarious about this (waiting for video to transfer)
if we were in I don't know France, people would not be begging for a minimum wage increase. They would be stopping the trolley with a general strike. We are passive, and waiting for mana to come down from the sky.
Before you say it. I cover politics, so I get to watch sausage making, not myth making.
That was what I was having a lot of fun comparing notes with this reporter from Europe. How passive Americans are.

7. But we used to have strikes
now Unions have given up the right to strike, and the S word has become a four letter word.
This is why I mean by saying that we are very passive, and like to blame the other, and not ourselves. Let me tell you, one thing that scares the living daylights of leaders on both sides... is people finally going, we've had it, and actually going on a few wild cat strikes. I don't expect to see it in my life time. Americans are way too passive for that.
We have been beaten too many times. And no, I no longer buy it that at the highest levels there is that much difference. IN city councils yes, at the level of the Presidency, no not really. There are differences in internal policies to feed the base (whichever happens to be the base), but there are things that are going to continue no matter who occupies the WH.
It is truly an illusion.

as expected.
So yuo know, this is known as an Ad Hominen attack, it is also known as a logical fallacy.

32. Really? I did not know that pointing out that divide and conquer
is working like a charm was a personal attack. Noted. Some people really cannot take the truth.
Now please proceed, these are becoming extremely predictable.
