Oh my.
The raccoon-bitten primitive.

Can you use leftover grilled hamburgers
with to make a macaroni, tomato, and corn mix? We have three left over. Will it be too dry?
Just re-heat them and eat them like one ate the other ones.
Twice-done hamburgers are great.

1. I am a big fan of leftover hamburgers,
but i don't try to make a new meal out of them, I just like to warm them up and eat them like they were originally intended.
<<<am now a fan, as with the case of Big Mo, of the cbayer primitive.

3. I'm trying to do something creative with them before they go bad
Maybe something like a goulash.
Aw geezuz. Pay attention to the cbayer primitive; she has the right idea.
And it's only three hamburgers, for crying out loud. Feed the raccoon.

5. Well, it's worth a try. What do you have to lose?
I don't know if it's age related or what, but I would rather have ground meat than a steak these days.
I made meatballs tonight that were fantastic, if I do say so myself.

2. Depends on the burgers, I'd say.
I'd surely try to use them. Add extra tomato, if concerned about dryness.
^^^the husband-hating primitive, even though he's dead.

4. That was my thought
some canned corn [franksolich: yikes!], the hamburger meat broken up and some crushed tomatoes along with macaroni and cheese.
On the stove or in the oven.
Remind me never to dine in the home of the raccoon-bitten primitive, because she uses canned [franksolich: shudder!] glop and gorp, otherwise known as "canned vegetables."

7. If I use one of these recipes
that uses ground beef, how do you think I should go with it? Maybe break it up at the last minute before baking it?
Aw, just re-heat them, slip them onto buns, pour some ketchup on them.
Or since there's only three of them, feed them to the raccoon.
Geezuz.

8. Not unless somebody squashed the hamburgers to make them cook faster
which efficiently squashes out the juice and does nothing else.
If they were cooked over charcoal, they won't taste like the usual mix, but that's about it.
<<<suspects Ms. Hindenberg's being sarcastic here.

9. I hate to waste food
and these burgers are from Saturday. If I don't do something with them, they will go to waste. Plus, I could sneak some vegetables in there.
Canned vegetables are not vegetables, sweetheart; they're just glop and gorp.
Warpy (77,519 posts) Mon Jul 21, 2014, 05:10 PM
10. Oh, absolutely
I'd definitely use them some way, even buried in tomato/green chile/onion/garlic and covered in foil and baked to be eaten as (surprise) hamburgers with cooked salsa.
I've just used burgers grilled over charcoal and noticed they changed the flavor of anything I generally used uncooked ground beef in. It doesn't follow that the change was unwelcome.

11. Here's what I did - I have a medium can of crushed tomatoes
corn, macaroni and cheese. Should I add a can of green beans, or would that be too much? I'm doing all of this before adding the ground beef on the stove.
Gaaaaaah.....

13. I put it in.
I think it tastes pretty good, if nobody else does, they can go to the restaurant of their choice
<<<thinks the raccoon-bitten primitive makes life more difficult for herself than she needs to.

The ringtail bait primitive misspelled a word.
They're not called raccorns.
Will it be too dry?
Just add a pound of ground raccoon meat to that recipe. That'll moisten it right up.

If NJCher made hamburger helper, that would be the way she'd make it.

She'd stir in a can of peas and chop up some kale.

What in Gods name would make anyone do that?
Corn does not go well with any of that.
Tomatoes in macaroni and cheese just wasted all the time spent making macaroni and cheese.
These people can`t hide their insanity even in cooking.

Oh FFS, what is wrong with this primitive?
If it wanted to make chili mac with her leftover hamburgers why does she need to come to the DUmp for approval?
She can't decide by herself what to do with leftovers, yet thinks that we should listen to her on matters of actual consequence.
BTW isn't this the same primitive that recently sought advice on beating drug testing?
If so, that must be some really good shit because I think she fried her brain.
-

Yeah. Every true DUmmie knows that you should add peas. Not green beans. You also need to add at least one item with a foreign sounding name.
-
I suppose if I had a few leftover cooked hamburger patties, the first thing I would use them in is vegetable or minestrone soup. Maybe quesadillas or salisbury steak. I'd have to think about it, but it's not like I'd need input from a bunch of strangers to find a use for them.
I could feed them to the dog, but he'd probably just shit on the rug again. He seems to prefer the corner near the door.

No, that was the incoherent seabeyond bitch, one of the prominent women's-libbers.
The arrows primitive, who prefers women of her same sex, is the one who got bitten by the raccoon.

Frank, thanks for clearing that up.
I still don't have the more prolific primitive posters memorized yet.

I thought the raccoon-bitten primitive was a vegetarian with (as a bonus) an eating disorder?

eating disorder
That's an insensitive reference to the lezbo lifestyle.

There is NOTHING that a DUmmie can't **** up.

Canned tomatoes, canned corn, canned green beans, macaroni & cheese, and a few broken up leftover hamburgers. Did you see what she said? "If they don't like it, they can go to a restaurant." She served this to other people! :panic:
-
Microwaved one for lunch today....called it an hamburger steak. :-) some leftover lima beans from the garden yesterday, 2 fresh tomatoes, some rice and I called it lunch.
-
No wonder they have so many issues in life. They can't even decide on what to do with left over hamburgers.

Pretty sure she's talking about the raccoons.

See spot run.
Run spot, run.
Run, run run !
Am I the first one to recommend the obvious ?
Chili !
That's what Wendy's does with their leftover hamburgers from that day.
