Something new might excite more interest, and hence more participation.

How about adding a new forum to democraticunderground, a sex forum, where members could describe and discuss their encounters of that kind?  Given that much of your membership was around during the Age of Aquarius, hippies hopping around in the sack with anyone and anything that moved, I’m sure you’ll agree that there’s a gold-mine of anecdotery and short stories among your members.

A sex forum would beat the cooking and baking forum by a mile.

Please think about it, dude; it’d be awesome.

You know, this really gets me.

According to the primitives, we're a bunch of uptight prudes and prunes, while they're the "liberated" ones.

How come sex is described more over here, than over there, then?

In fact, it's described quite a bit here.....and described not at all over there; it's like the primitives are too inhibited to talk about it.

I'm no prude, but I shudder as I contemplate the stories that would emerge given their predisposition to all things sick and twisted.
