Can someone explain to me how the #88 means something?
I've read on here a few times that 88 has some sort of hidden meaning. What is it? I've never heard it in my life and there are people on here who swear that it has some sort of racist agenda behind it.
Please explain.

and we learned them in the field
I worked in Tijuana, so we had to learn tattoos for a lot of the gangs to be street safe. The 88 and tear came from my own reading once we had some of these boy scouts cross the border for some less than legal business and I saw the Consular Staff first stop and talk among themselves at the ER. So I looked it up, Yup, I transported one of those boy scouts. Alarms also went off when he refused to be treated by my partner, who is very dark skinned, or my driver who is hispanic. So alarms were already going off. The reaction from the Consular Staff was enough to make me go...hmm what the hell is going on? What do they know that I don't?
It is at that point that we actually informally had trainings with corrections officers on both sides of the border on gangs and tattoos. I will also add, these days I am probably off in tattoo identification. We have new ones, and some have changed their meaning. Others are just perennial, that is one of them. Here is a funny story by the way, a local jewish cop was allowed to cuff the customer because he was white and his partner was black, and the super was hispanic. Nothing more funny than telling this guy that he was Jewish once he was behind bars.When I heard the story I busted up.
That is one of the reasons I spend some time at places like Stormfront. The current crisis, I was going, I am betting "disease ridden subhuman" is going to pop first there... do I get a price? it did. Which makes you wonder what things radio hosts read. To be fair though, that one has been a perennial of the nativist movement. So I doubt they were original in the thought process, but it popped there very early.

You don't believe any of us. try to talk to your local gang unit, or better yet, department of corrections.
Some police academies even go into the subject early in class, depending on how prevalent hate groups are in the area. My local academy goes into it early. Deduce what you will from that.
IMHO our media does little to expose these groups until they go off the reservation and actually commit a horrendous crime. Oh and they should be exposed.

And then there is "lane." You see, some of us do spend way too much time in places where you have to take a shower after. And we also admit to having hate groups in our country, some in my county no less. A few of them, I would love to thrown them into a room, close the door and throw away the key and see who comes out in the end. They hate each other much more than they hate the rest of us. And that is saying something.
There are way too many close things in one username to known issues with extremists groups.
Just letting you know where all this is coming from. And no, we are not extremists. We just keep an eye on hate groups and coded language. Some of the race language has left the confines of those groups as well. But code is code, is code is code.
If you are truly just posting your birthday, my apologies, but I would consider asking for a reprieve if there is ever a change of name opportunity. Because anybody familiar with that code will not think birthday or NASCAR. By the way, I like NASCAR.

At what point during that period do people begin to be considered 'survivors' of the Holocaust? Did they have to be imprisoned at some point? Or, as in the case of gNads' family where the grandparents and THEIR children fled to other countries, then those children had kids of their own (including gNads) - how many generations consider themselves 'survivors'?

Although she's tried to imply some professional standing, EMT and paramedic in the civilized world refers to a specific level of very technical training, beyond her googling expertise.
The nutcase, prior to hooking up with a desperate, addled submarine rider, was in mexico where there is no real training for anything.
So she calls herself the ambiguous "medic", and claims to have hacked tracheotomies open with the Bowie knife she kept in her shoe (along with peanut butter rations), after rappelling under heavy fire down to mortally wounded gangsters.
Of course it's all fantasy, but it makes her the sorely-missed star of the DUmp.

I've known fifth generation American Jews who've never left the country, who call themselves "Holocaust survivors". In fact you don't even have to be Jewish anymore.

As to her "passport always ready" comment, the only Jews I've heard about running away to Israel, are criminals who're wanted for serious crimes in the US. I dated an immigration lawyer from Tel Aviv awhile back. She told me that 2/3 of American Jews who emigrate to Israel, turn around and go back to the US within six months.
This woman is obviously entertaining a persecution complex.
