I got my car fixed. Thank You!
Original post: http://www.democraticunderground.com/10025198650
Because of the generosity of people here at DU, I was able to get the exhaust system on my car fixed before it blowed up or whatever.
I was truly humbled by the outpouring of support that I received through all the replies. I never expected that.
I had some extra and I used it to pay 2 adoption fees at the local shelter. I could have used it for my physical needs, but this helped me in a lot of ways too. I didn't specify the use for just cats. I just wanted 2 sweet baby animals to find forever homes. Mousie and Scat would approve as would Tater and Moonpie if they ever slowed down enough to listen.
Thank you again!
It seems that this is taking money under false pretenses.

15. you're a lovely person
Grits, like every DUmmy, is a scam artist.

We knew the original story was a lie.
This confirms it.

Now, why would that surprise anybody?

If true (yeah,I know) it means that it doesn`t have enough money to fix a car but wants to have pets and all the expense of them.
You are poor grits because you make stupid choices and decisions and then expect others to pony up for the bill.
FOAD worthless bag of shit. :bird:

Say has any one looked at the ingredients in some pet treats ?
I have a box of Blue Dog Bakery treats for the pups and wonder why the liberals are not buying these for their family. Cheaper then a bag of cookies and NO additives.
One could buy a gross of them and bring them to a pet shelter, or wrap them in zip lock bags and take them to a soup kitchen or send them to school for a treat for the kiddies. This brand of treats is much better for them then the crap we buy full of stuff one can not pronounce or have any idea what that is. Only in America is the pet food healthier then the people food.
So someone gives me money to fix a muffler and there is money left over, what to do now, a food bank or the SPCA could use the money. If you are like me and suspicious of donating cold hard cash, buy goods they can use, time is money so donate a few hours a month to helping out.

Vesta, that earned you an H5. :cheersmate:

There was no car. This loon just wanted to adopt two cats. Any leftover money is going to pay for sweaters to keep the cats warm.

I got an entire "cat back" exhaust system for my 93 Buick for under $100 at the local muffler shop. So the gritty DUmmie could have had duals on his car for the cost of adopting a stray cat.

Usually, when it involves liberals, it's fools and someone else's money is soon parted.

True, a liberal will give you the shirt off of someone else's back.

I've honestly never heard of paying money for a cat.
If a kid needs a cat, you spend a day or so checking the "Free Kitten" offers, and pick one out.

That's true.
I've noticed that in blue cities, one has to pay to get a cat.
Cats are a dime a dozen; around here, they're given away, with thanks.

South Carolina. You're so lucky.
Somewhere near Florence if you ever want to do the world a favor and run her over with a car or truck or whatever's handy at the time.

I'm headed that way from Charlotte to Myrtle Beach on Thursday, but I wouldn't want to ruin a perfectly good Winnebago on a 28 cent DUmmie.

You know you're in moonbat country if people refer to getting a housecat an "adoption".
That's one small step from calling them "fur babies".

No animal or human should have to look to a primitive for their survival.
I'd rather have Charles Manson operate on me than have to depend on a primitive.
Both paths are going to lead to the same place; dead, but at least with Manson it will be over with quickly.

I agree. We all know DUmmies won't donate a minute of labor, not even for a pay check. But buying the goods is a great idea. We had a local pan handler with a sign that said he need dog food. A lady I work with is an animal lover and had two bags that her dog did not care for and they were still unopened. The next day he changed the sign to "need MONEY so I can buy dog food"
I think dog food is the new name for booze.......we often have people on street corners trying to get LP tanks filled so they can stay warm in the winter. I know a guy that offered to bring one an exchange tank and take his, he declined. He also noticed the guys tank looked a little heavy like it was already full.........they all have a scam.

Adopting pets repaired her blown up car! It must be all the white light I sent to paypal.
