Clashes in Paris as thousands march against Israel offensive

Paris (AFP) - Clashes erupted in Paris on Sunday as thousands of people protested against Israel and in support of residents in the Gaza Strip, where a six-day conflict has left 168 Palestinians dead.

A Paris synagogues has been under siege in Paris.

I wonder how long Paris would tolerate being rocketed...week after week, month after month, year after year? I'm sure the country has several hundred thousand white flags stored away somewhere that they'd put back into good use.

We know the answer to that from history: not at all. The french would surrender their capital rather than see it be damaged, a la WWII surrender to the Nazis.
