(SF) Giants consider ban on ‘culturally inappropriate’ attire
The Giants are contemplating a new kind of dress code at AT&T Park, one that could keep certain types of politically incorrect gear out of the stadium.
The proposal stems from a brouhaha that arose after a fan, who appeared to be Caucasian, donned a headdress at Native American Heritage Night. The fan was approached by two Native Americans who asked for the headdress and then refused to give it back, according to a report from USA Today.
The two fans were escorted from their seats and detained by security, but they were not arrested.
...in the future “any fan wearing culturally insensitive attire, using obscene or abusive language, engaging in antisocial conduct offensive to those around them or displaying any other offensive behavior,†would be ejected from AT&T Park, according to Staci Slaughter, a spokeswoman for the team.

Total First World Problems for those ignoramuses who insist on appropriating other cultures for the night out at the ball game. Lol. And GO GIANTS!

:whatever: Great, NFL, MLB are both giving in to the PC crap. Those Native Americans were thieves. Plan and simple
Let's see; Culturally insensitive attire, use of foul language, any conduct offensive to those around them, what else you idiots got? All one can basically do is sit quietly with their hands folded in their laps, and watch the game. Nobody is going to pay the kind of money a good ticket costs to do that since all of the above mentioned can be very loosely interpreted.
Enjoy your loss of revenue, Giants. You deserve it.

Fan should have used the "Warren Defense" of his headgear.

What did the idiots think would happen when they have a night to honor Indians? Do they still sell toy Indian headdresses at toy stores with the cowboy toys? Or have they been banned, too?

I think someone wrote a column on this, but there would be a somewhat valid explanation to remove damn near every team's nickname. And in some cases, their city name as well.

Well I can see the team I root for has their priorities screwed up again. They're worrying what people are wearing when they should be worrying about the pathetic offensive effort the team is putting out on the field of play.

Maybe the Giants should let their fans dress like the White Sox fans do.

I think in California's case, their real target is gang-bangers who terrorize peaceful fans.
