2. I was gonna say
There's a wide world of sex out there that doesn't involve sticking penises in vaginas. And it all disgusts the 'aspirin between your knees' types just as much as birth control.
Hobby Lobby, crafting sodomites since 2014.

35. How many Morning After pills do you need?
I would imagine a few over a life time for emergencies would be needed, but 22,000 dollars worth? That is quite a bit of money. The daily pill is covered so that would not be included in the 22,000.

38. That really was not the intent of the ruling
The companies are breaking the law and the citizens of the companies need to get back to the Supreme Court. The Court never envisioned the pill being banned by companies, just the abortion bills (4 of them).....everything else was passed by the Court and Holly Lobby is continuing to provide birth control to it's employees.

39. Literally everything you just typed is wrong.
The four methods HL objects to are not "abortion pills". They're the two kinds of IUD on the US market (which are the most effective reversible methods and are the best option for women who can not use hormonal contraceptives) and two kinds of emergency contraceptive. None of them are abortion pills.

43. It clearly says Without Insurance.
I'm assuming she's talking about the daily pill too, not Plan B. I've seen a lot of people throwing around $9 and $10/mo, but not every woman is on the same medication. My generic prescription would cost $35/mo. *without* insurance, and if I'd been on it since I was 18, the total so far would be over $16,000. If the author in the op is using a more expensive low dose pill as my oldest was for a while (with insurance and a co-pay of $22/mo.), then yes, $22,000 is believable.
Enough of that boring stuff! Now this thread really gets going:

9. You would have to have a pretty unusual sex life
To attain that number. Very few people on the planet have sex every day for 25 years.

14. I hate to point this out if you don't know, but a good session shoud use more than one condom.
Is that like a two-bagger?

23. Even then most would not sustain those kind of numbers over 25 years
Maybe in the first couple of years but long term not bloody likely.

24. They also need to be paired with a lubricant to improve their effectiveness.
And lubricants which aren't damaging to a woman's health are not cheap.
We demand single-payer lube!!

48. Mine is $50/month
without insurance. That's the generic version - the brand name was much more. I can't use the most common type of BC pills for numerous reasons...I need a 'special' kind. And that costs significantly more.
And they're all unaffected by the Court decision.

Hmmmm.
The rich bitch the kaput primitive makes me wonder about something.
If some sort of hearing instrument were of use to me, and I had one, what would be the cost of batteries to run it, over the course of my life-time?
A cost that one must bear oneself, remember; these things aren't free.
I dunno for sure, but I suspect it'd run into the low five figures.
-
Well, after giving it some thought, I guess I might be wrong; a life-time of batteries wouldn't run into that much. It'd be a considerable expense, but not that much.
However.
However.
However.
If one considers the cost of the hearing-instruments--they seem to last about three years--along with the cost of the batteries to run them, in a life-time it runs into.....considerably more than a measly $22,000.
And again, this is usually--not always, but usually--an expense that one bears oneself.
-
It would take 365 days of sex, for 24.6 years, using three condoms per day to reach teh magic number of 9000 condoms used.
No breaks for illness, periods (assuming one[or more] of them is a female), or anything else. 24.6 years, three times a day, 365 days a year...
Why do I feel like this is bullshit?

Which one? :whatever:
From the SC ruling, it sounds like the only person that broke the law was Barack Obama.

You know what the irony is, DUmmies ?
If most of these birth control methods weren't covered by insurance, the prices would drop through the floor. Don't believe me ? Consider every name brand prescription item that became available over the counter.
"Big Pharma" are always pushing to get their products on store shelves, before their patent runs out.
Which brings us to generics.
Your calculator seems to be forgetting that any prescription medication only has protection from generics for twenty years since date of patent. Even "Plan B" has been available in generic form for the last four or five years.
Now obviously, you aren't going to be able to get an IUD "self install kit" - but nearly every other form of contraception are going to be way cheaper than your calculator is computing by the time one reaches menopause.

Why the hell are the DUmmies even worried about birth control? Most of the women are dried up, shriveled old prunes or dykes.
For those few DUmmies not covered above, they use body odor, obesity or personal hygiene for birth control.
And they all use the method of just being total bitches.

True there - kpete is well over 60, and "skittles" is just a 57-year-old computer operator at Ross Perot's old company.
-
If they need birth control until menopause why don't they just get a tubal? Even Hobby Lobby's insurance will cover it!
-

Or in the case of Sandra Fluke, her haircut.

You have to plant your seed in the right hole before you have to worry about making a crop....2/3's of the DUmmies plant their seed in the wrong holes.

I'm really torn here...... My gut reaction was to be outraged that they expect the American taxpayers to fund 100% of their ability to bang like rabbits without consequence.... but that was quickly followed by the realization that preventing their offspring from populating the planet might be worth the expense.

I love math so I thought I would add a little something.
And I calculated these on the low side from age 25 (for the late to leave the nest liberal) to 65.
Cell phone averaging $65 per a month is $31,200
Cable/Internet averaging $85 per a month is $38,400
Cheetos averaging $1.25 per bag per day is $18,000
Money out of you pocket to by contraceptive to prevent another liberal scum's birth. Priceless!

This is another thread that could have been a classic had nadin been around.
She could tell the DUmmies about using three conundrums and faking an organism.

I did almost calculate the use of a dime bag of mary jane everyday, but decided to leave it out. I will admit I did smoke back a long time ago, but I am unaware of current prices.
