This means Warren: Obama backs challenger to Hillary

By Edward Klein     July 6, 2014 | 3:35am

President Obama has bypassed Hillary Clinton, offering his support to Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren if she runs for president.

President Obama has quietly promised Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren complete support if she runs for president — a stinging rebuke to his nemesis Hillary Clinton, sources tell me.

Publicly, Obama has remained noncommittal on the 2016 race, but privately he worries that Clinton would undo and undermine many of his policies. There’s also a personal animosity, especially with Bill Clinton, that dates from their tough race six years ago.

A former Harvard law professor and administration aide, Warren would energize the left wing of the Democrat Party just as Obama did against Clinton in 2008
.
Thanks to her outspoken stand against big banks and the top 1 percent, Warren is the darling of progressives. She won her Senate seat thanks to millions of dollars in donations from outside Massachusetts, including from rich environmentalists and Hollywood celebrities.

Obama has authorized his chief political adviser, Valerie Jarrett, to conduct a full-court press to convince Warren to throw her hat into the ring.

Non-American communist president backs a non-American Indian communist for president....What is unusual about that?

A book recently came out called "Blood Feud" covering the Obama/Clinton battle going on behind the scenes.

This should get interesting.

The Clinton's are nothing if not vindictive. There was a deal to support Hillary. Now it's off.
They machine will now start to trash the Obama regime.

The media will report it all. They will ignore a Republican accusation, but not a Clinton accusation.

Hope Warren has a strong constitution, she is gonna need it if she is going up against the Clintons.

She has spent years protected in a college atmosphere....she's weak and will not stand the pressure very well....I hope. :-)

Sad thing is...no matter what you call it...the media still won't cover it.

Someone will, and fairly quickly.  Once it starts, all Hell will break loose.  Not all of the media loves Obama--some love the Clintons.

Lol, that's what backing Obama gets you Hillary. Hopefully if Warren runs, she'll be dragged though the coals over her bogus heritage.

About the time that Shillery was putting her campaign staff together, B. Hussein Obama said publicly that she had his complete support. We know what the value of his word is. Since then, we're seeing what poor-poor-me Shillery's word is worth - nothing. Now comes faux-pocohantus Warren saying she isn't going to run. She has his word of support now.

Yup! Sure thing.

Do remember that Bill Clinton and Barack Obama can't stand each other.  Clinton gets along better with George W. Bush than he does Obama, and he's publicly noted that Bush called Clinton for advice during Bush's presidency.  Clinton's also said that Obama doesn't call him much, if at all.

Obama was never going to support Hillary, because then Obama would be ceding his status as the de facto head of the Democrat Party to Bill Clinton.

Warren had better be ready for the "Kathleen Willey" treatment. :runaway:

And, as I said upthread, fratricide amongst Dems (you can't really call it 'friendly fire') is always a good thing to watch. :whistling: :yahoo:

Obama is heading Hillary off at the pass. Any she says about Benghazi or any other scandal about Obama will be viewed as sour grapes from the bitter old bitch.

Be interesting to watch the Arkansas Mafia take on the Chicago thugs.  The Chicago Thug can probably put more boots on the ground, but the Arkansas Mafia has put more bodies in the ground.

The only down side I can see to this, is that the stupid RINO bastards won't do the smart thing: stand aside, shut up and let the treasonous ****s of the Dhimmi'Rat party tear themselves to little pieces.

skeptic of Warrenmentum (polling, reality suggest progressives are generally solid behind Hillary 2016), I finally found a reason that's keeping speculation hot. Voters assume Warren is much younger than Clinton.

"I wish Hillary would have won last time," said Irma Glaser, a 77-year-old retiree perched at the front of the stage where Warren would speak. Glaser was so pro-Clinton, actually, that she put Claire McCaskill on her "list" for daring to endorse a male candidate over the first credible female president-to-be. "But the Republicans are going to push on her age. It's been eight years, and who knows what's going to happen by 2016?"

Glaser wanted Warren to run for that reason—she's "younger." How much younger? "I don't know, but I'd guess 15 years, 20 years," said Glaser.

Other voters guesstimated that Warren was around a decade younger than Clinton. She's actually only 18 months younger, born in 1949, 12 years before the current president of the United States, and four years before the current dynastic hope of the GOP, Jeb Bush. But she just got elected in 2012, so people don't assume she's around the same age as the woman who became Arkansas' first lady in 1979.

I ran across this over at the DUmp.  Hill's PUMA's are not about to let Lie-a-watha nudge out their 'girl'. :rotf:

They truly are the Granny party.  Who is going to win at the DNC?  Depends!!

I don't.  Both play will in the NYC/Boston/LA liberal bubbles, but pretty much nowhere else.

Remember, Fauxcahontas won over Scott Brown by 8 points in 2012--a squeaker by MA standards, where Obama won MA by 23 points.

So look at the Dem front-runners.  Hillary and Warren, who, while the latter has less name recognition, will never win an election because they can't win in any but the most liberal enclaves.  Marty O'Malley?  Yeah, no--not when his 2A and tax stances are made well known, like taxing rainfall.  Tim Kaine or Joe Biden?  Too much baggage.  Andrew Cuomo?  Legacy elections end at the NY state line, and again, his 2A stances will kill any chance in a general election.

Don't know about the bolded, Sparky.  Kaine, well, . . . I don't know enough about him to make a call one way or the other.  Slow Joe?  He's been pretty much 'cut out of the loop' over the last couple of years.  He could try to say that he legitimately didn't know anything, so he couldn't influence Obama's decisions.  He'd be right,  but not for the reasons that he'd hope to be right.

(The again, with Marie Harf and Jen Psaki still on the Federal payroll, . . .  :banghead: )

Not always, Obama won the general after his divisive primary with Hillary. It's time to make sure they divide and remain divided.

Let him. Again, plays okay in heavily liberal enclaves. Flyover country? Not so much.

And if Hillary's age is an issue, just imagine how Moonbeam's would play (he's 76.)

Yes but Hitlery has been ridden the hardest, and put up the wettest.
She looks older than any politician to ever run for president.
