Butts Fire 55% contained. BUT. and thats a big but.
Hold on to your Butts!
http://cdfdata.fire.ca.gov/incidents/incidents_details_info?incident_id=988
San Diego residents clenched their collective Butts as a massive fire broke out just off Butts Canyon Road in Pope Valley. 4,300 acres went up in flames and while the fire is 55% contained, any strong wind could likely kill us all.
2 Homes and 7 outbuildings were destroyed, and the Butts Canyon Sasquat sanctuary (home of the legendary Big Squat Ape men) is threatened.
Further, should the Butts fire jump the burn lines all of New York City could be in danger.
1,725 personnel are fighting the fires. They are supported by 136 fire engines, 60 fire crews, 4 air tankers, 11 helicopters, 12 bulldozers, and 13 water tenders. The Occupy movement gathered to help as well: they are drinking herbal teas and pissing on the flames.
It is believed the fire was sparked by a liberal who spontaneously combusted over a recent supreme court ruling.

Mr Mannn is a journalist, dammit. Don't make me post "crunchy news." I'll do it. So help me, if you kids don't settle down I'll turn this car right around and we'll all go straight home!
Will she turn up? Will she take the bait?
and i could use a few bullies and sappy minions who think this is informative.
or can you nadin better than me?

Good one, Mr Mannn; great one!

She has been lurking here, no way would someone with her limited reading comprehension figure it out otherwise.

3. CAL FIRE Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit
San Diego is CAL FIRE Monte-Vista Unit
Figured that this would be the gentlest way to deal with the obvious trollish call out.
One last tip.. look up "Banner Fire." See, here helping you.
Happy Fourth of July.
And she retaliates with her own thread:

Brush Fire Cancels Fourth of July Parade in Julian
July 3, 2014 (Julian) The Fourth of July parade was an unintended victim of the so called “banner fire†east of Julian. The fire started at around twelve and by tonight it had charred 150 acres, with fifteen percent containment according to Captain Ken Bortisser of CAL FIRE.
Julian Chief Rick Marinelli of the Julian Fire Department, as well as Chief Joe Rinaldi, the Incident Commander for CAL FIRE gave the reasons for the cancellation of the parade. Both men said that it had to do with the movement of equipment that had to continue to support operations for the Banner Grade. They also said that it was a decision based on public safety. In the worst case scenario the fire would kick back to life, and doing the evacuations would be next to impossible with the Parade and the traffic jams.
Frank Herndon demanded to know from Marinelli, “whom did you speaks a representative of the community.†He went on as to the economic cost to the community. Marinelli answered “Jack Shelver and Mike Menghini were notified.â€

We did have a fire, and I will not make fun of the people who actually lost property yesterday. My only complaint... after running all day, hubby did not get his favorite apple pie. As to the community, this is a big deal. This is the major event of the season and they are losing quite a bit of cash from the people coming up for the parade.
Happy Fourth of July...

Mr. Mann, I had to give you a Hi5, but I do have a concern.
You claim to be a journalist; however, I could understand what you wrote, you correctly spelled “spontaneouslyâ€, and I noticed no condescension toward your readers. Are you sure you’re a journalist?
In the post the Jake brought over you can clearly see how a true journalist drops the words: whom did you speaks a representative of the community

You guys sent me to my library of 40 cardboard boxes to find a book Nads may find interesting.
The book is titled The week Maine Burned, by Joyce Butler.
1947 and the State caught fire. All military with a home port of Maine were sent home to help fight the fire. One reason may be that Bar Harbor and other ports where the political and ultra rich had homes were in the path of the flames.

Sounds like undeniable evidence of global climate change, Vesta.

Now Mr Mannn, sir, why'd you have to go and pick a fight with the cousin?

I alerted on Nadin's response. I'll post the jury results in a moment

OK, I promise to never refer to Vesta as nadin again.

It really gets tiresome how the same brushy deserts burn every couple of years, yet in the off years some California moonbat will jump in and build a house or an out house.
It's crazy that they don't just let these brush fires burn themselves out.
Instead they continue to spend a seemingly bottomless barrel of tax money to save as much dead mesquite and creosote bush as possible, so next year's fire will be even bigger.
We don't call them DUmmies for nothing.

Where are my willing lackeys to call out the bullies?

You forgot to mention the Enviros and EnviroAgencies who forbid home owners from clearing brush around their homes, and who get the courts to forbid clearing out dead trees from forests to reduce the fuel load.

Quiet!
Pro journo at work!
Herndon reflected the felling of the community.

WTF Pete, why would anyone in their right mind want anything flammable around any building up to and including the outhouse ?
I do know that up here there are regulations on not cutting some healthy trees, White Birch for example, unless one gets approval from someone.
Far as removing dead or downed trees from our forests, we just drive in and help ourselves for heating and the removal is a benefit to the woods. It allows low shrubs to grow that feed the deer for one.
Bugs, another problem for the overgrown forests. Strange bugs from elsewhere in the world get loose and feast on the rotting vegetation and soon migrate to the healthy trees and then the State has to call in crop dusters to spray.
The expression of ---To clear out the dead wood--- to denote a benefit of some sort has been around for hundreds of years.

Well, given that there might, possibly, maybe, just on the off chance be a turtle under one of the tumbleweeds, the expense is completely justified, you neocon, climate denier, H8r.

I thought "Nadins" were protected by the 'Endangered Species Act'?
Unfortunately, the Hobbit movies revealed that bald dwarves were in fact: commonplace.

Maybe I was less than clear. Or maybe my brain is protein-depraved ...
Rural landowners want to clear fire breaks around their properties, but the EnviroAgencies and courts won't let them. Rural landowners and Forestry people want to clear out the dead and dying trees, but the EnviroAgencies and courts won't let them. It's perverse and irrational, but it's not the judges' and Envirocrats' homes that get burned down.

They are trying to get me angry, instead, I am laughing my ass off.

You have to laugh!

28. Trust me, they don't like it
They scored points by making me notice. But the social points quickly went as they were called on it and were unable to get a rise. Bullies hate that. Two other folks had the same result at FB.
Thus we see nadin's new defense: she claims nothing bothers her....
BUT. What really happened? The moment she noticed the thread, she was all over it.
This means that every nadin thread we post will draw her like a fly to...you know.
Score: Mannn: 4 Nadin:0
1 for the laughs
1+1 for a nadin response (with an extra point for multiple appearances)
1 for a Lackey showing up

Hey look! I bagged another lackey!

29. I don't find this funny
This fire, which is nowhere near San Diego, is too close to me for comfort. Take your bullying and trollish behavior somewhere else.
By the way, as of this morning, 3800 acres with 75% containment. However, there is now another fire at Montecito Dam. Not as close, but still too close.

That was quite possibly one of the most insensitive posts I have read in a while. From a bully I expect no less though. Thanks for not disappointing.

I wonder who it could be? My list is so big anymore...

11. The tags were a clear call out
For those who haven't went to DUlite here are the tags that Reporter Mannn used...
fire doom death destruction hellfire youreallgonnadie imajounalistddammit
So to nadin the above tags simply scream NADIN! I'm sure that says something about her psychologically, but I only pretend to be a psychologist on Wednesdays.
By the way, I just noticed the double Ds in imajounalistddammit. I'm surprised another DUmmie didn't think you were calling out to her also.
