What’s Causing the President’s Foot Pain?

http://www.lifescript.com/health/centers/pain/articles/whats_causing_the_presidents_foot_pain.aspx?utm_source=aol&utm_medium=syn&utm_campaign=health&ncid=webmail2

"President Obama loves sports, but foot pain may keep him away from the basketball court for a while. In this exclusive Lifescript interview, the president’s doctor reveals how the athlete-in-chief is handling plantar fasciitis, a common, painful foot problem. Plus, learn how to deal with the condition yourself…

The basketball-playing, treadmill-running, golf-loving 44th president of the United States has been tripped up by a painful foot injury.

President Obama is suffering from plantar fasciitis, Physician to the President Ronny Jackson, M.D., tells Lifescript in an exclusive interview.

“The president has had off and on over a 6-month period,” Dr. Jackson says. “He experiences pain when he overdoes it – it usually clears up.”

Wow. That sounds pretty painful...

The Pansy-in-Chief has a sore foot.  Poor baby.  How did this lazy weakling get bad feet anyway?  He hasn't done any heavy lifting in his whole life, unless you count these:

He must just be delicate.  He does a lot of golfing, which is kind of a physical activity but I'd bet he rides in a cart instead of walking.  If he does walk, he surely doesn't carry his own bag.  It's hard to know for sure how he makes his way around the golf course since the press that follow him around get stuck sitting in the equipment shed while Barry plays his rounds.

11. Free Advice for the Prez

Physical therapy and the orange Superfeet insole worked wonders for me.

Free Advice for the Prez from me:  Resign and go away.

Plantar fasciitis is real enough, but this is national news?

Get rid of poorly fitted crappy shoes, get good after-market insoles and be done with it! Possibly excepting high-end (>$100) athletic shoes, the standard insoles are inadequate and won't last. A good set of Spencos will last for years and multiple pair of much used shoes.

Golf is painful on the feet.  Even when riding in an armored cart.

He should rely on his foot wedge less when playing golf.

That particular thing really isn't particularly dependent on physical activity, it's more of an aging and genetic issue, though abusing your feet will aggravate it.  In his case, all the tap-dancing he's been doing about "Phony scandals" probably didn't help.

I'ts not his feet that's hurting, it's his knees.

He could fix this problem by cutting down on the amount of golf he plays.
