The Supreme Court ruled unanimously Monday that President Obama violated the constitution when he made recess appointments while the Senate was still in session.
The case centered on the tactics Obama used to fill three vacancies in the National Labor Relations Board, a federal labor arbiter. While the Senate was in pro forma session, the president filled the vacancies with two union lawyers and a Republican, giving Democrats a 3-2 majority on the board without the consent of the Senate.
Obama Solicitor General Donald Verrilli argued those pro forma sessions—during which a handful of senators enter into then exit session every few days—were not legitimate because no major action was taken.
Three federal appeals courts rejected that argument, saying that the president cannot tell the Senate when it is in session. The nation’s highest court upheld the lower courts.

So, who's going over there and kick them out? That's what I thought, no one.
-
What's going to stop Obama from doing it anyway?
He has no problem ignoring the powers of the other branches of government.
Supposedly, any actions/laws passed by these "illegal" appointments are now null and void. But again, who is going to see that this ruling goes into effect. The President? The DOJ?

Fidiots.
They don`t even try to look "objective" anymore.
-
I wonder how many dumbasses will only read the headline and assume the opposite of what the actual ruling was.

The "comments" are pretty vociferous, talking about this misleading headline.

Of course they are. Liberals read the headlines then went bragging about the Smartest President ever and people shut them up with the real ruling.

nothing. In fact he can't be bothered with an uncooperative congress. He's just going to take matters into his own hands regardless of what the law of SCOTUS says
President Obama, tired of waiting for Congress to act on immigration reform, is currently exploring ways to address issues with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson.
During an interview with MSNBC’s Chuck Todd, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest explained that the Obama administration was getting impatient with Congress.
“[W]e’re not just going to sit around and wait interminably for Congress,†he explained. “We’ve been waiting a year already. The president has tasked his Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson with reviewing what options are available to the president, what is at his disposal using his executive authority to try to address some of the problems that have been created by our broken immigration system.â€

OUR IMMIGRATION SYSTEM IS NOT BROKEN...... what's broken is our government that is run by stupid people.

I can't stand having to hear the phrase "comprehensive immigration reform" I first really started hating it the first time I heard Hitlery say the phrase.
-
"Comprehensive" anything means they won't read the ******* bill and it will be loaded with the worst kind of garbage imaginable. Obamacare was supposed to be "comprehensive" legislation to address a handful of issues that could have been fixed by multiple individual bills that didn't call for chopping off a leg to cure a hangnail.
-
I am shocked by the ruling, which I agree with. However, Obama does not care for laws.

The politicians keep whining about how they need to pass comprehensive immigration reform to solve the immigration crisis (that they manufactured themselves) which is bullshit. There are already immigration laws on the books and nothing is stopping our ICE from enforcing the laws except for the same idiot politicians who scream for reform. What we need is total immigration enforcement, not comprehensive immigration reform.
