EPA Pleads with Employees to Stop Pooping in Hallways
What did you expect when you hire Occupier hippies?

America certainly has been having problems with the EPA's employees, but it seems the EPA itself has been having a few problems with its employees, too. In one case it's been so bad that the EPA has had to issue a directive to warn employees to stop pooping in the hallways at work.

In the email obtained by GovExec.com, EPA Deputy Regional Administrator Howard Cantor detailed "several incidents" of bathrooms being vandalized, presumably by employees. The email lists incidents of toilets clogged with paper towels and other vandalism. It also noted that that an "individual" was "placing feces in the hallway."

To figure out a way to address this childish behavior, the EPA decided to consult a "national expert" in "workplace violence." The expert, John Nicoletti, apparently warned the EPA that this behavior was likely to "escalate" into something worse.
This IS the Obama administration.

Maybe the EPA ought to monitor how much additional sewage they're creating by their shining-star employees when entire packs of paper towels are shoved into toilets.

And yeah, they ought to review the Occupooper tapes to see which one of those cretins has been hired in their facility. Or, more likely, the cretin is a janitor himself and is pissed because as one of the 99%, he's going to make a mark for himself.  :whatever:

I worked in a retail store that had one bathroom for the customers.

The public was disgusting.  Half the time we had to lock the door because of something a customer did in there.

An administrator at a regional Environmental Protection Agency office in Denver, Colo. had to educate employees about bathroom etiquette.

Deputy Regional Administrator Howard Cantor wrote an email to staff earlier this year lecturing them about bathroom behavior and telling them not to defecate in the hallways, Government Executive reported.

Cantor told employees about multiple inappropriate incidents, including "an individual placing feces in the hallway" near a restroom and someone clogging the toilets with paper towels, according to Government Executive.

"Management is taking this situation very seriously and will take whatever actions are necessary to identify and prosecute these individuals," Cantor wrote in the email, asking employees to notify their supervisors with any knowledge about the incidents.
For some reason, I doubt TPM articles get linked and quoted here very often. At any rate, there are at least four possible culprits I can think of: a very disgruntled or slovenly EPA employee; some one with a grievance over EPA overreach (from their POV, of course); some one POed that the EPA, from their POV, doesn't do enough; a homeless person who has been able to enter the building and is doing their business wherever the urge hits them. IMO, the latter and the first on that list are the most likely, though that opinion and $5 will get you a cup of coffee and change at Starbuck's.

There's those old jokes about gas station bathrooms being nasty, but in the case you mentioned and all those gas station bathrooms it is the people using them that are pigs.

Not pigs most times, just the New Americans that lived their whole lives before coming here never seeing a toilet or  running water in a sink.  Most of these people have no idea how to use an Out House much less how to prime a water pump.

Nah, it's not immigrants from countries without Western-style plumbing as such, but people who don't give a ... (or maybe they give several?) about things they don't own or get paid to maintain. What happens in retail, fast food, and gas station restrooms is a less sanitary version of what happens in the aisles of a a K-Mart or in a Walmart or Target (yes, that was a slam on K-Mart, whose employees in this area seem not to care about putting away the stuff with which "K-Mart shoppers" seem to carpet the store aisles). It's a disregard of property and people that does not really tie to any national origin or skin color.

If you travel to Asia, I hope you figure out how to use a "Squatty". :cheersmate:

Don't have to go to Asia, I have seen the foot prints on the toilet seats at work from those that squart, have no idea they need to sit down.

Come to think about it, I have no idea on how to use a  Bidet.  Not something found in most American homes, seems most of Europe have these things but they are as foreign to America as flush toilets are to Boreno.
