Liberals probably hate that they are taking away the power to discipline children for playing make believe.
But they probably love the other part.
The case of Marissa Alexander, who was convicted in 2012 of three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, ignited protests from supporters who contrasted her treatment with that of George Zimmerman, who was acquitted on self-defense grounds last year in the shooting death of a black, unarmed teenager, Trayvon Martin.
This case was nothing like the Trayvon case which was justified. This woman left the house, went to her garage and returned to fire a weapon in the direction of her ex. Her son was in another room and was put in danger by her actions.
