Title: Woman takes Franksolich's advice. Uses wrench for home defense.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A disabled Indiana woman attacked a burglar with a wooden back scratcher.

Patty Kearney and her husband were watching TV when they heard glass shatter in their back door. The intruder confronted the couple and demanded any guns they might have.

"I looked at him and said, do you have a gun?" Kearney said. "And he said, 'No,' and I don't know what happened. I snapped...I don't think he expected an overweight woman on oxygen to attack him -- I really don't."

Kearney attacked him with the wooden back scratcher and then picked up a wrench.
