The media has been caught lying about a gun violence episode once again. Last week’s terrible murder of an innocent man in a Walmart was turned into another dishonest attempt to strip guns from honest law abiding citizens.
What we know to be true in this story is that two miserable pieces of human debris, Amanda and Jerad Miller entered a Walmart in Las Vegas intent upon committing murder. Seeing that both of them were armed, an honest citizen who had a legal right to carry a gun confronted them and was shot and murdered by Amanda Miller.
As is the case whenever a sensational gun related crime occurs, the dishonest media worked overtime to portray the shooters as somehow connected to any Right wing group they could. This case was no different. The two murderers were quickly painted as Tea party supporters and Right-wing extremists.
The truth about these two swine is that not only were they not connected to any Right wing group, they were in fact “Occupy†movement...
After seeing this Photo the LVPD still didn’t think the shooters involvement with Occupy was important enough to mention in the press conference where they promptly began a media storm about the Miller’s involvement at Bundy Ranch.

According to CBS Chicago:
While living in Lafayette, Jerad and his wife Amanda took part in last November’s “Million Mask March†– a gathering of protesters from the Occupy movement, anarchists, and hacktivists.

It's a bit less simple than the MSM simply not covering this at all, or that the Millers were actually leftists.
First, as the quoted blog post indicates, the source of the story is CBS in Chicago. IOW some local MSM folk are digging and covering the story. AFAIK, the national MSM are not. The national story vs. local story angle is being gamed by the national MSM.
Second, the Millers did stuff with lib/Prog-oriented groups and with conservative-oriented groups. The Millers don't fit in the liberal-conservative continuum. They were ragpickers who picked and chose what they liked from whatever source. The Millers were violent anarchists - in the sense that they hated governmental authority entirely - and had sympathy with anyone in conflict with authority on the point of conflict.
