Senate aides tell the Free Beacon that Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) has “wait-listed†a bipartisan bill to reform the scandal-plagued Veterans Affairs healthcare system.
Obama has urged the Senate to pass Warren’s bill, which Reid has already scheduled for a vote on Wednesday. It is unlikely to pass, but Democrats don’t care about that so much as they hope the issue will increase turnout among young voters in November.
Meanwhile, it has been a week since Senators John McCain (R., Ariz.) and Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) reached an agreement on a VA reform bill. Three weeks have passed since the House overwhelmingly approved a bill of its own. But when Senator Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) asked for consent to take up and pass the House bill, Democrats objected.

When it comes to solving America's problems, Harry Reid is nowhere to be found.

When it comes to solving America's problems, Harry Reid is nowhere to be found one of the biggest obstacles.
FIFY.
-
Let me guess how this will work.
Reid's bill will be loaded up with liberal crap that has nothing to do with the VA, and the House's bill will accidentally on purpose fall in the trash.
The Senate will pass Reid's bill with only Dems voting for it, and the House will reject it. Reid and Dumbocrats will run to all media microphones crying that Republicans hate the vets and want them to die.

House Passes Bill 421-0 to Let Veterans Ditch VA
The bill allows veterans to seek treatment outside the Veterans Affairs system using government funds, Politico reports. It closely resembles a bipartisan Senate deal struck between Bernie Sanders and John McCain. The final vote tally was 421-0.
