 From September 2008 to February 2010, 8.7 million jobs were lost.

As of today, 8.8 million jobs have been added since then.

It took us 51 months, but we finally got the lost jobs back.

This reminds me of grouchy old Don, the late "NNN0LHI" primitive, the autoworker from Chicago, who was always in his reminiscences connecting Reagan with the late 1970s and Carter with the 1980s.
