This is what the soldier trade is being spun as, and it doesn't look good
"We traded five hardened, throat slitting terrorists all for an American who deserted his post, is a traitor, and wanted to join the Taliban."
Folks, this is what the right wing and some of the media is now painting the picture along these lines, and the average American is listening to this. Let's just say it doesn't look good. Even some Democrats are joining the fray, like Feinstein and Joe Manchin.
This whole thing might turn out to be a huge political blunder by Obama and his administration. I would love to put my head in the sand, and think happy thoughts of fluffy clouds and rainbows, but this is what's happening.

This isn't what the soldier trade is being spun as, DUmmy, it's an objective assessment of reality. Barry and Dingy Harry and Susan Rice and Jay Carney are the ones doing the spinning.
Barry traded five hardened, throat slitting terrorists all for an American who deserted his post--I couldn't have said it more matter-of-factly myself.
I have to give the DUmmy credit for acknowledging that it doesn't look good and that the average American is listening to this and that this is turning out to be a huge political blunder by Barry and his administration.
Barry cooked up this plan as a way to divert attention away from the VA scandal. I'll bet he's kicking himself now.

It will melt in the summer heat like every other non-scandal the right wing gnashes their teeth over.

The President should make it perfectly clear. We would rather see an American soldier subjected to the U.S. Military Justice system than subjected to Taliban "justice". If punishment is necessary so be it. But let's allow the military to investigate before we jump to any conclusions.
That wouldn't be Barry's style. Barry decided that a lavish pat-himself-on-the-back Rose Garden diversionary production was in order.

I really doubt the health insurance, or Benghazi, or this traitor will have much effect on the election, especially when the Hildebeast runs in 2016, unfortunately.
For nearly all democrat voters, it all comes down to getting their hand into your pocket.
They care nothing about the future of the country.
If that weren't the case, they would not have voted democrat in previous elections.

I agree with you. I think most Americans are too far gone to save the republic.
Too many people today are ignorant of our history, what patriotism is, and a grounding in Christianity.
I'm just thankful that I had those things and tried to raise my children in them.

The push is on to roll out whatever lies it takes to make this debacle palatable to real hard working tax paying Americans.
The libs and lib media are asserting all Bergdahl's unit comrades are crazy.
They are saying the unit didn't have the proper discipline or security.
They are saying Bergdahl was on death's doorstep.
They are saying Bergdahl served honorably and with distinction.
It's amazing the fiction the libs are spinning up.
