Title: Taliban leaving false information to ambush searching soldiers

former Army Special Forces Officer Michael Waltz, who commanded units involved in the search for Bergdahl in 2009.

(some including Shep Smith are poo pooing deaths of soldiers searching for Burgdahl BUT, commander says the following;)

He said the Taliban was deliberately leaving false information to ambush the Army because they knew the U.S. was looking for Bergdahl. “I think that’s why you’re seeing such a vitriolic reaction honestly from a number of folks that were with him.”

Waltz recounted several traps, including one team being lured into an area where the ceilings were rigged with explosives.

Kinda how war works.  I'd be glad to do the same to them, if the shoe was on the other foot.
