Kinda weird for a group that seems to resent even the discovery of fire:

On burning fossil fuels...
If you really think about it, 'modern' use of fossil fuels is really just the same old thing people have been doing for thousands of years, burning something to release the chemical energy it contains, while releasing all manner of toxic fumes and pollutants. From that perspective, we haven't improved much from when the first cave men ran over and grabbed the burning shards of a tree struck by lightning.
The technology of how we do the burning has changed, and the choice of fuels has changed, but really it's the same old shit. Most of the 'improvements' have been more for economic reasons, and thus have usually been the simplest and least expensive of changes, not the most efficient and certainly not the most creative.
We need to get on renewables, and quickly. Frankly, there is technology out there that would do most of that, but we don't for 'economic' reasons, which is to say, that the large powerful interests in fossil fuels won't let us do anything on a meaningful basis.

Reimagine the tale of Prometheus wherein the titan brings fire to humanity and, rather than be chained to a mountain to have his liver torn from him each morning by an eagle, he faces a deluge of environmental activists protesting his action, EPA regulations and harassing lawsuits.
The people who have turned pseudo-science into a cult so as to excommunicate dissenters as heretics want you to ignore real science, i.e. chemistry and condemn your child's 6th grade Bunsen burner as a relic of damnable heritage.
For people who call themselves progressives they hate the world that has allowed us to conquer rotted food, create mass transportation, medicine and industries that have lifted humanity from scratching out subsistence-level existences.

The lib's don't get simple economics. Renewables and especially solar panels are prohibitively expensive.
If libs are so in love with renewables they should be dedicating their lives to developing advancements that will make them economically competitive.
But, it's not about renewables at all...is it ?

Dear DUmmie, go eat a raw rat.

If renewables were viable they'd have to call the riot police to hold back all the greedy capitalists wanting to throw money at them.

"Non-toxic, Renewables" according to DUmbasses:

Think I'll stick with gas fumes.

People would not need fossil fuels if they would just stay uphill from where they need to go.
This would also solve the problem of rising sea levels.
Thanks.
And I am due beer and travel money, and many experiences.

Not to worry. The Obama Regime s going to make using fossil fuels so prohibitively expensive, that wind and solar will be cheap in comparison. Of course, the fact that we will be returning to the pre-industrial dark ages is just a side benefit to the left.

Left solely to DUmmies, the wheel would never have been invented.
They'd still be living their mud huts, smoking the magic weed they found in the forest, and deciding that they really didn't need to go anywhere anyway, man.
