Oh my.
One wonders what foul powers and principalities of the air, of the darkness, are at work.

Let's Keep Score Here... Grasswire Just Got A Second Strike...
It seems a minority of members are trying to change the tenor of DU.
I've still got three strikes...

5. I was told that newsbuster is a RW site.
Sorry, didn't realize that.
I'm always on the side of letting the adults here judge stories for themselves, anyway.

9. "Benefit of the Doubt" is no longer applicable even for long time posters without
the fragrence of "eau du troll." It seems we have some aggressive allerters and it's hard without a DU List of "Unapproved Sites" to not sometimes pick up a news story that links to a site that some here have on a list that the rest of us can't see.
It's somehow assumed that many of us know what sites are RW and not. I've often wondered how some have time to read all those RW Sites to know they are RW in the first place. All I know is Faux News, Rush Limbaugh and a few others. But, then it is what it is.

12. yes.....
...just like Willy got locked out of DU for posting a cartoon from The Washiongton Post that happened to be drawn by a cartoonist who (alerter said) is a RW-er. Willy didn't know that.
I don't cruise RW sites. I don't watch FOX. Hell, I rarely watch MSNBC any more either.
And, in addition, I am always interested in MORE transparency and less secrecy

From the usual bitchy, vindictive, and attention-seeking? Understandable.

Really effective moling here, folks.
Slaps the dummies with the truth, and then backpedals pleading ignorance. Then puts a halo around it's head by implying it only knows of the top two bogie men of the left and "a few others". Implies it doesn't waste it's precious time by reading any right wing site. Then slaps the dummies again by saying some there must read all the right wing sites to know they are right wing.
I can neither confirm nor.... ya all know the drill. :cheersmate:

You lunatics have to actually HIDE a post containing a link to a possible non-liberal website? What the hell is wrong with you? To paraphrase Bloomberg's recent comments at Harvard, "what are you afraid of seeing?"

They are just proving they are weak minded. Anything can change their mind. :panic:

Fascism runs deep on the Island.

I have a solution for Skinner to rework the jury system. If a member alerts on posts, and juries let the posts stand, then the alerters are given a "timeout" after 5 false alerts.

But that would involve accountability and you know that's a completely foreign concept to them.
