End the U.S. blockade on Cuba?
Is it time for the United States to end its policy of economic blockade on Cuba?

1. My view
My view: I want the Cuban people to have a real choice in their future -- therefore I oppose the 55-year U.S. government policy of economic blockade, terrorism, sabotage, assassination, and destabilization. The U.S. should immediately end its attack and pay reparations.
I hope we all support democracy in Cuba. That means we should stop supporting U.S. attempts to commit acts of war on Cuba.

I think there's no quicker way to unwind Communism than to expose the subject populace directly to the full benefits of a Western consumer economy.
They don't know the difference between embargo and blockade, apparently. Idiots.
I'm in favor of ending it, myself, though because of the Cuban vote in the pivotal electoral state of Florida, it's always been a no-go for both parties. My reasons are rather different from those the DUmmies would cite, though; I think there's no quicker way to unwind Communism than to expose the subject populace directly to the full benefits of a Western consumer economy.

They trade with France, Spain, Canada, China, and even the U.S. It's not the embargo that's holding Cuban's down; it's the assholes running the country. If we opened up total trade with Cuba, there isn't anything that says they'll loosen the shackles on their people.

The reason the Cuban-Americans are opposed to it is because they had their property, lands, and wealth stolen by Communist assholes (Sounds like what the DUmbasses want to do here) and to open up total trade with the Communists would be a slap in the face to the people that essentially turned Miami into a thriving metropolis.

Perhaps all the dummies should move to Cuba, speak truth to power and overthrow the government. Then there would be no need to have an embargo.
