Gun rights group won't be dining at Papillion Texas Roadhouse; event moved to Bellevue restaurant

Just a cut and paste out of the Omaha paper.

3. If these sad sacks can't bear to leave their guns home alone while they go out to eat,
why don't any of them pull up their bootstraps and open their own restaurant?

14. Because it's not about the carrying around of the toys...
It's about the intimidation and bullying of everyone else.
Plus most of those cowards will never put themselves into a situation why they could possibly be fired back on.

7. Taking their guns everywhere isn't even the problem anymore...
...now they demand the right to open carry everywhere, so that all of us have to view the little phallic symbols strapped to their hips, and ohh and ahh at how much like John Wayne they look.
I'm a gun owner; I have shotguns and rifles for hunting, and a shotgun for home defense, but god I'm getting sick of this in-your-face shit from the people who have no other way of measuring their manhood.
I say we draft every gun owner into an informal militia, and then start well-regulating it.

Johny has a Vietnam service ribbon as his avatar. I suppose we are supposed to think he knows guns.

12. These clowns are the poster children for gun control
If it all it takes is for 6 assholes with cheap shit weapons scaring people to finally burn some common sense into people. Perhaps we should all dress in Camo and Carhardts, buy $200 Mossbergs and terrorize the local Cracker Barrel.
Helluva lot more effective than handing out pamphlets on a street corner!

Steve still makes no comments.

You know, when I went through the Police Academy they trained us to always ask if there were weapons in the car. If the answer was yes we were supposed to have the person exit the vehicle and detain them until the weapon was located, unloaded and placed in a safe area.
Out here in the West of the Nebraska Panhandle, being a rural cowboy country, EVERYONE is armed and there is at least one weapon in the vehicle often more. Doing that would just be silly. Of course, the training is mostly for the urban East of Nebraska, Lincoln and Omaha- where common sense doesn't have a place and there are 'gangs' and drive-by shootings...

What is there to fear about seeing a gun?
Guess what DUmfuks...there is a reason hood rats keep weapons out of sight.

DUmmie says, "now they demand the right to open carry everywhere, so that all of us have to view the little phallic symbols strapped to their hips"

DUmmies don't mind seeing queer dicks on the streets(San Fransissyco) but a pistol on the hip and they go crazy.

Where does this DUmmie live that he can buy a Mossberg for $200?  Certainly not in Massachusetts.

Mossberg is the official handgun of the DUmp.

The only time Steve Dawes is seen anywhere near s place like the Texas Roadhouse restaurant is if someone else is picking up the tab.

These people blow my mind. Then again, it's a good thing they're so transparent. They know damn well a big sign on the front door will not stop a criminal. So they play this bullshit game where they think law abiding gun owners are going to start shooting it out like some kind of western. It must be a lousy kind of life they lead to crave control so much they are willing to be the one controlled.

Interesting you should mention that, Dutch.  Since getting my CCW I've been pulled over 3 times.  In all 3 cases I handed the officer my DL and my CCW.  At no time was I ever asked if I was armed or if I had a weapon in the vehicle.

In one case it was still in my back pocket and the other 2 times it was in the console.

Glad to see that most cops aren't freaked out when a legal firearm owner hands them their CCW.

It is law in Nebraska that you ID yourself as a CCW permit holder and if you are armed. We don't see too many of those- we have alot of open carry types. When I get stopped and they run the plate it comes up as *Law Enforcement Officer*. I always identify myself and let them know I am armed. I am always armed.
It is just part of living in rural society.

Now you know how the rest of the civilized citizens feel about the militant queers.

Every able bodied citizen, age 17 to 45, is already a member of the "informal" militia.  If you had a clue about what you're writing, you'd already know that.

But I actually have a better idea:  How about we fine every shithead that fits the Militia Act's criteria for Unorganized Militia that doesn't own firearms?  How's that grab you, DUmbass?  Considering I'm ready for a call up of militia, I'd be all about punishing the shit out of anyone who's weight I have to carry because they were too sensitive and scared.

Wait a minute!  I'm already carrying you DUmp rats every day I go to work!   :whatever:

Substitute the word Gay for guns and let us see how they would react.

I don't know what the laws are in Bellevue, NE, but in this state, there's open carry and concealed. I guess the mere sight of a gun freaks the DUmbasses out, but not when some woman has a Ruger in her purse. They are literal like that.

Most actual, on the street, cops support legal carry and ownership. It is their elected/appointed chiefs, that have never spent a day on the street, that oppose it.

In VA, it shows up on the report when the cop runs your driver's license if you are a CCW permit holder or not.  You do not have to identify yourself as one, nor do you have to notify the cop if you have a gun in the car, BUT if he asks to see the weapon, you do have to present it if it IS in the car.
