What is it with cashiers in grocery stores always asking you for $1 for some foundation?
I wouldn't mind it once in a while, but lately it's ALWAYS being asked. Oh, yes, grocery stores aren't the only
offenders. I heard it at Kmart too.
Is it some kind of tax write-off for the grocery store? It has to be.
Yet another glimpse into the liberal mindset. They claim to be charitable, but they don't give. When you ask them to give, they howl. Because KKKorporations, you see. (http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=5011185)

4. I guess what MIGHT help would be if I email somebody at the Publix, Kmart, whatever,
corporate office.
At least it might make me feel a little better.
Yeah, tell them to stop trying to fundraise for charitable causes.
Nothing new to see. Liberals take, conservatives give.

They could also give a buck. That shuts them up, too.

If you hear someone say, "The government ought to ____(fill in the blank)_____. " .....they're usually a liberal/democrat.

The government doesn't ask if we want to donate. The government just takes.

No idiot there is no tax write off for the companies as they didn't donate the money.
And they do it because it works, simply people are more inclined to give when their wallets are already open.

Dummies... the simplest things annoy the smartest, bestest folks on the internets. What a bunch of freaking losers.

I agree with the DUmmy.
It's irritating to be solicited by checkout clerks.

You must give off "that certain vibe" to male cashiers.

At the threat of the point of a gun.

Notwithstanding the mwrguy from the other thread, but this one struck me as a nomination for stupidest post of the day.

Libs give till it hurts. But they are hurting before they start giving.

I think you have that backwards.....they give until you hurt....and then a little more.

It's the same with DUmmies when it comes to watching Fox News or listening to Rush, Hannity, or Beck. Just say no (or don't tune into the station or channel) and get on with your miserable existence.
