I'm sure I'm going to get banned on Discussionist, so I'll post this now; this started with

DU's Dumbest Post of the Week #1

One thing I like about Discussionist is I can confront the DU-ites head on, especially when it comes to these posts.

37. I asked him if he made a habit of mocking DU out of context all of the time...

And he declined to answer.

Being that he's also a member of a site known for stalking DU relentlessly, I'm sure that we know they answer to that question without his input.

41. oh now

sir, there's a difference between "stalking" and "reading."

I'm reading a book by the late Moshe Dayan right now; does that mean I'm "stalking" Moshe Dayan?

Relax.

42. I take it that you don't mirror your own life on Moshe Dayan...

In order to find ways to constantly mock him and ridicule him, resentful because he never invited you over to his house.

Spend some time in the cave in which he dwells and you'll get my point.

43. I dunno, sir.

I've been critical of authors of books I've read.

And it doesn't seem like to me you got any reason for resentment.

Last night, in the Lounge on democraticunderground, you posted a link to your recital of a poem.

Because I can't hear, I took the link over to conservativecave, to have hearing people listen to it and tell about the qualities of your voice, so I could see if I guessed right.

<<<deaf; has to imagine how people sound--am sometimes right, sometimes wrong.

They all were highly complimentary.

45. Hi, Frank! Nice to meet you!

Would you like to take this opportunity to compare my head to produce now?

Take your best shot.

I don't know why you would think that I'd be insulted by being compared to pineapples… I love pineapples, by the way, they're delicious!

And oh yeah, if you'd like to take this opportunity to refer to me, a fifty-two year old man, as a "boy primitive," or refer to my race in a racist and insulting manner, I'm ready for you to tell it to my to my face now.

Don't hold back, show us how you really feel. You wouldn't want us to think that you're being coy now, would ya?

I'm all ears…

47. oh now

I've never not once used any derogatory terms to describe you, sir.

********************

And remember, I write the year-end awards, and you've won one or two of them, meaning I had to write about you then.

I dare you, sir, or anyone else, to find any instance in which I used racially-derogatory language; it's not my style, it's not me.

You come across as a highly-stressed individual, sir; I suggest you mellow out, and enjoy.

And watch the story; you're in the background of it this week, but as next week goes on, you come to the forefront, with some wonderful dialogue; apparently I was right in my guess--and remember, it was only a guess, a stab in the dark--in that you're a very compelling, persuasive person.....as long as you stay positive.

Now, in the last comment, where the red asterisks are, I wanted to say:

Quote
Maybe it was someone else who called you that?  Maybe we all look alike to you?

but didn't, for fear it'd be considered racially inflammatory, and I'd get alerted on.

I knew that got under his skin.

Hey Lamond, I could rightfully call all non-mole, male primitives the "boy primitive," so don't get so upset, son. You can't be a liberal and be a man.  :loser:

The avatar picture is another. It's the same as he uses on the cave. A golfer.

Well, we know who that golfer is. We know the name of that golfer. He's a member of the Federalist Society.

Am I still alive over there?  I left, and haven't checked.

This is the beginning of summer, and I'm "maintenancing" eleven box-fans so as to be prepared when the heat hits.  But I'll get over there.

Oh, it's the usual "You should be ashamed stalking us. Get a life! You don't impress me." junk they falsely believe we care if they say or not. Don't bother. We're just going to keep doing what we've always done over here, and they need to ignore it like they've always been told to do.

Okay, I'll go over there in a few minutes, to check things out.....if I'm not already banned.

I'm working on the last fan here.  Because cigarette smoke and nicotine builds up in them during the summer, every following late spring I have to take them apart, scrub the parts clean, and then put them back together.

It's a long job; they're all clean, but they still have to be put back together.

10. he dropped a LOT of clues there.

Judy's sleuthing skills remind me of when Clouseau  was looking for clues in a room, and  slipped on the floor and fell onto his face.  He then told the other detectives who saw it that "I am inspecting the wax."

Yeah, sure, Judy.

What is also odd is that both the Clouseau  and Judy seem to have an odd fascination for wearing coats.

Yeah, she's a regular Clouseau.

Okay, I answered all but two of the comments (those were so nonsensical as to be unanswerable).

I dunno why Mr_Scorpio's so wounded--if he took himself less seriously (he doesn't have a whole lot to be serious about anyway), he might actually attain a life.

Is "Boy-Acting Primitive" better or worst?

I don't know if pineapple head takes himself seriously, but I think he likes the other DUmmies to take him seriously.  Frankly, I think he has a bigger ego than gNads, but just expresses it differently. They both like to get accolades from the other DUmmies for their posts, but Mrs. Corpio does it by trying to sound uber-cerebral and more intelligent than the other DUmmies. He wants them to look up to him.

Oh geezuz.

Maybe I erred in saying I'd posted why I went to Discussionist the way I did; maybe I posted it on conservtiveunderground instead of Discussionist.

But I looked, and there's s-o-o-o-o-o many pages of my stuff.

I'm going out to lunch, and not up to reposting it on Discussionist.

The way I remember my comment was that I never intended to make any secret of who I was on Discussionist--which would've been pointless anyway, because my fellow alum Skin's intimately acquainted with the e-mail address I used, and the elusive enigmatic Elad knows the ISP number from this computer like the back of his hand; Elad knows all.

But how to not disguise who I was?

After all, using "franksolich" there would be like raising a red flag, and no discussions would've gotten underway.

So I just used another screen-name (which I've used before), but also the unmistakeable avatar; even a blind man could see who I was.

Additionally, some time ago on Discussionist, Mr_Scorpio had commented that if franksolich showed up, he'd "be recognized right away."

Immediately following that, I engaged in a dialogue with Mr_Scorpio about some other issue, and was greatly surprised he had no idea who I was.

Now he knows, but he didn't know some days ago, when I was all over the place.

I don't think Mr_Scorpio's defective, er, detective skills are as good as he thinks they are.

Bah, humbug.

I'm going to town for lunch now.

Well, I went to Discussionist this morning, to see if anything new had been added since yesterday afternoon.  There were a few new comments, but nothing worth wear-and-tear on the keyboard answering.
