Why I vote for third party's
I am just sick and tired of republicans trying to tell me they are "CONSERVATIVE" but in reality are just LEFT WINGERS.
Cases in point; so called republican Gov Tom Corbett not challenging the gay marriage ruling in PA.
Pennsylvania governor won't challenge overturning of same-sex marriage ban

Then there is the judge, LEFT WINGER republican John E. Jones III, appointed by G W Bush a "so called 'conservative'".
The decision by U.S. District Judge John E. Jones III a 58-year-old Republican appointed in 2002 by President George W. Bush

He is best known for his presiding role in the landmark Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District case, in which the teaching of intelligent design in public school science classes was ruled to be unconstitutional.

Then Gov Corbett Officially Asks Obama Admin for Hybrid Medicaid Expansion

So why is there even a "republican party" if they just accept LEFT WING ideology and tell us we shoud do the same ?
Well, this is why I vote third party. Republican leaders and even the republican party have NO PRINCIPLES, and NO CONSCIENCE.

I've held out for over forty years hoping for another Regan Revolution. The Tea Party and Ted Cruze gave me hope but, Mitch McCommie and the average American voter have finally settled it for me and I regretfully join you. If this country can be fixed, it will have to be after it has collapsed.

Just another example of left wing republicans;
Headline; Republican votes exist to expand Medicaid now
A Republican lawmaker says the Medicaid expansion called for in Obamacare can be available in Pennsylvania in "weeks," and he'll resume a push Wednesday to make that happen.

Why does he even call himself a republican ? He stands for absolutely NOTHING except pandering for votes from leaches.

Pa. is controlled by Republicans in the House, the Senate, and the Governors Office, YET they pass the biggest GAS TAX in the nation. What happened to SMALLER GOVERNMENT AND LESS TAXES ?????????????????
By early 2017, the new tax rate could add more than 25 cents a gallon, pushing Pennsylvania’s gas taxes higher than any current level in the nation, according to American Petroleum Institute figures.
By early 2017, Pennsylvania will be collecting at least 58 cents a gallon. :censored:

This subject is a sticky wicket. It comes up every election cycle.
I recently was listening to a group of political analysts.
They were talking about polls and this coming election. One of them said that according to recent polling, only half of Democrats would turn out to vote and less than half of Republicans will turn out. I guess that means we will just get more of what we have, unless the Independents turn the tide.

I understand your frustration, but a third party is not the answer and neither is quitting.
The Republican Party, for better or worse, is the best current vehicle to spread individual freedom. Fellow Caver Former Lurker has said it best when she told all of us that if we want to see the democrat lite element run out of the Republican party, we need to get involved on the local/state level and make it happen. What that means is we need to get our asses busy and make the changes that need to be made. Milquetoast conservatism is a loser, it loses every time it is tried. That won't change until it's forced to change and that won't happen until enough people get off of their asses and make it happen.
The answer is right in front of us, we just need to have the courage to lay hold of the wheel and push.

Very true.

If the GOP governed like they campaigned, they might be worth voting for.
