the point of this is to demonstrate how "valuable" Caroline Kennedy is to the BHO Veep team. the best they can come up with is this....
A month into the search, as one of two remaining members of the search team, Kennedy is emerging as an active participant, slipping largely unnoticed around Capitol Hill for private meetings and exercising the kind of discretion that made her an appealing choice in the first place. Despite initial skepticism in some quarters that her appointment was window dressing, associates and at least one member of Congress who met with Kennedy describe her as an engaged and savvy operative.
Consider these scenes last month at Democratic National Committee headquarters.
Shortly after Obama finished his meeting two weeks ago with members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, Kennedy slipped out the back door of the office and moved unseen past a knot of TV camera crews loading equipment on their trucks. Wearing sensible silver flats and clutching a folder in one hand, Kennedy escaped onto Independence Avenue to hail a cab with Eric Holder, the other half of the search team.
A week later, as dozens of reporters filtered into a first floor DNC meeting room for a briefing from Obama campaign manager David Plouffe, Kennedy once again eluded most of the gathering media mob.

that is pretty pathetic, Jim.

I was trying to figure out of this article was intended as satire but I don't think it was.
Another sterling example of BHO's judgment.
Change we can't afford...

Since when has been been any kind of political operative? She's lived in relative obscurity right?

Faith brudda, keep the faith. The GOP has yet to strap on the gloves. There is no point in doing so before September, the great unwashed only wake up in late Sept or October. The Rove has yet to fight and we're statistically tied !

Hehe.... so true.

Hehe.... so true.
Yes ma'am it is.
McC is not the most artful candidate we could have hoped for but the facts bear out that summer is spent enjoying family and the fall the painful process of separating the wheat from the chaff politically.
Obama will collapse like a house of cards when people are reminded of what we political junkies already know.
Now I realize that a chunk will ignore all but I really believe they are the same people who voted Kerry despite his obvious shortcomings.
My hope is resolute. Something big will have to happen to shake it.
Sure wish it was Uncle Fred instead of McC but thats life.

:hammer: Hey! Snap out of it...the real fight hasn't even begun yet...Have faith...democrats are bumper sticker fanatics which just makes them more visible...you can't lose faith because of bumper stickers...Hell, if you looked at Florida during the primaries, you'd think Ron Paul was going to win...if your compass of predicting was determined by bumper stickers and road signs. :lmao:
