Took a "Personality Assessment"
Gotta love looking for a new job in this day and age.
If people have any interest, I'll post some actual questions from this ridiculousness.

2. My brother had to take one recently. Lots
of stuff that had nothing to do with his personality or even the job he was applying for. Lots of "Which number comes next in this series?" nonsense. Between shit like that, drug testing, and background checks, it's a miracle anyone is pristine enough to get hired. So much BS out there.
Comforting, by the way, that he did finally land a job with a different company based solely on two interviews with the bosses and no extraneous bullshit.
Drug testing? Background checks? How does anyone ever get a job?

3. was it MBTI?
Pretty easy to manipulate the results. What was the outcome of your assessment?

10. I have taken 2 of these pre-employment
And always wondered what they told the employer...I got both jobs. About a year ago my current employer, which didn't require a test pre-employment, had all "leadership" take PCM profile. My profile came back as a "workaholic". I figure this explains getting the other 2 jobs...
I felt that the PCM was pretty accurate with my personality and most of the people I know. I felt that the names they used for the 6 personality types were incredibly negative..reactor, workaholic, dreamer, rebel, persister, and harmonizer...There are only a couple of those, based on common definition, I would want to hire. I guess they have changed some of the names now.
DUmmy pipoman misread "alcoholic".

They're either bragging or bitching, there's no in between.

Maybe they're taking it to find if they actually have one.
I've said it more than once, but being loud and tacky does not qualify as a personality.

The tests are administered to weed out DUmmies. They may make no sense to a DUmmie, since DUmmies have no sense anyway.

10. ...My profile came back as a "workaholic"...
:rotf: :lmao:  :rotf: :lmao:
I don't know which is funnier, a DUmmie that posts a "4-letter word" like "work" on a public forum, or a DUmmie that would actually WORK!!!!
I'm sure the latter one doesn't exist.

True, very true.
The most dangerous place in the world to be is between a fat DUmmie and the next open government assistance window. :lmao:
