Florida man smothered crying toddler so he could play Xbox, deputies say

HOMOSASSA, Fla. - A Florida father suffocated his crying son so he could play video games and watch TV, sheriff's deputies said on Friday.
Cody Wygant, 24, is charged with third-degree murder and child neglect. He was being held Friday without bail at the Citrus County Jail.
Daymeon Wygant wasn't breathing when emergency crews arrived at the home Thursday morning. The 16-month-old was pronounced dead at a hospital.
"It is inconceivable that a father could kill his infant son -- it just baffles the mind," Sheriff Jeff Dawsy said. "Our only sense of relief now comes from knowing that we did exactly what we needed to do to bring justice to him swiftly. Our prayers go out to those who knew and loved Daymeon."
Wygant said he was frustrated because the boy was crying uncontrollably, preventing him from playing his Xbox games, according to investigators. He covered the boy's nose and mouth for three to four minutes until he became lethargic, then placed him in a playpen and covered him with bedding, which was tucked around the boy's body and head, officials said.
Wygant didn't check on Daymeon for five hours, investigators said, while he played Xbox and watched three episodes of the television show "Fringe." By the time he checked on the child, Daymeon had turned blue and was unresponsive, they said.
Hopefully, those at the Citrus County Jail won't be 'nice' to this scum.

The difference now is that your messiah is the worst US president...ever. Far worse than the previous worst US president...ever...Carter. He is provably worse. He has the most corrupt administration since Nixon, the worst domestic and foreign policy. The most dishonest, the most opaque, the worst in every respect. Provably worse by every metric. This from a president who held himself up as a new politician, above politics, above the milieu, above partisanship. Above polarization. But what we found was that he lied to us about that and everything else he promised during his campaign. He rode in on a lot of white guilt brought on by a lot of faux white privilege. But even that was phony in every way as is everything that comes along with rodeowebuma.

You probably don't see any of that because you are probably too young to see that electing a guy solely on the basis of his skin color will not advance race relations. If anything it will set it back like your messiah has done to the tune of about 100 years.

Put it this way -- in terms of racism, which isn't the point of this thread, but I'll play your obfuscation game for just a little while -- it swings both ways. Jim Crow was an era whose time passed many, many years ago and has never returned in any way.
But since Barry and his thugs have taken office, racism has swung the other way -- where whites are beaten into comas, the "New" Black Panthers are allowed with impunity to intimidate white voters, and the rule of law -- as decreed by Holder, a black man, is routinely ignored when it doesn't suit his purpose.
As we all know, Holder is but one of Barry's sycophants. He's in that position because he knows more about law than Barry ever thought about. And best of all, he knows how to ignore it.
At least Ed Meese knew when to quit when the investigators started sniffing around. Holder just thumbs his nose at Congress.
Holder has sneered and accused America of being cowards for not addressing racism. When you look at the end result, who's being a coward now?

Nixon was to me a bad man, for some of his policy's all related to the Military.
6 weeks or so at Tripler Army Hospital up on the hill watching the planes landing at Hickman with the wounded and destroyed young men younger then I from this crazy war.
Kids with lost limbs, blind and deaf. Then there was me a dependent wife who was determined to bring my child into the world.
Both sides of the family demanded I abort, stubborn me said not even if it meant my own life.
Then the hammer came down on me, because Nixon had cut money for the health care of the wounded returning from the war the dependents had to follow Doctors orders or leave the Hospital.
I was released from the hospital, went home, called my mother-----Help I have 2 other kids and I this far from home cannot care for them. Mom sold her car, emptied out her savings to fly from Maine to Hawaii.
This child I had faced death to bring into the world was born 6 weeks early, grew and went on to go into the Army as an adult.
Now as I look back on my life I see that even Nixon never came up to being a bad guy as Obama has. Nixon impacted the lives of us personally but Obama, he is changing the lives of the future generations.
The peanut farmer I remember little of, he did nothing that directly effected my self and family, except that gas problem when we were ordered to travel to another military site and we had to call in the State Police to inform gas stations we were on military orders and exempt from the state laws on gas sales to who could buy gas and on what day.
I was not happy with Regan, those that left the military for any reason could not get unemployment benefits.
Clinton with his boyish ways later in life made me enough money to buy a home and help out the family.
Bush also gave us a leg up, from first to last, Jobs and a hope for the future.
Has been a run for the money all these last few years.
What Obama will leave us is no way in any way to help those who benefited from LBJ's great society. The worse decision in the history of America, no American has the right to any damn thing they do not work for themselves.

Obama's reign has damaged race relations through the constant tossing of the false race card. Those that believe him really think whites/Republicans/Christians, etc. disagree with Obama's policies and his law-breaking administration because of the skin color of some. They have been blinded to the truth of his law-breaking and the great damage he is doing to our freedoms and our economy...and his deliberate lies about the reasons behind his opposition have increased racial tension across the country. His lies have also greatly increased tensions between economic classes, religious and non-religious groups, and various others such as pro- or anti-gun groups. It is sickening to watch supposedly intelligent people completely taken in by the destructive policies and lies of the left.
