Obama Pushes Democrats to Use Health-Care Law in Campaign
By Roger Runningen and Julianna Goldman Apr 18, 2014 11:33 AM ET
With a dozen words, President Barack Obama offered a campaign argument that he’s counting on to turn his health-care law from a liability into a winner for the November elections.
“This thing is working,†Obama said at the White House yesterday. “The repeal debate is and should be over.â€
Obama’s announcement that 8 million people enrolled for insurance coverage, a million more than estimates made six months ago, marks a comeback for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act after its botched rollout last year.
The political stakes are high for the president’s party. Republicans need a net gain of six Senate seats to take control of the chamber, and of 36 being contested in November Democrats are defending 21.
Obama’s statement was offered to Democrats as a counter punch to Republicans, who have repeatedly tried to repeal the law and have made it a central issue in the mid-term elections.

It should be shouted over and over. It's working.
Then add on the "...and you know what else will work?" Then add on the progressive agenda items.
Obamacare works. You know what the Republicans want, they want to repeal it and replace it with....nothing. Do you really want that?

Yes...November will tell how well it's working :-)
So will November of 2016

All the while, 61% of Americans believe he lies most or all of the time

I would say that probably at least the same % does not believe any of the numbers claimed for signups, etc.

It's only "working" for people who aren't "working" Only by an act of God, after 5 yrs of Obama, is that number still lower than those of us who are employed.
-
Even those people who get subsidies, are going to have a rude awakening when they discover what a "deductible" is. And then there will be that sinking feeling when people call up the doctors' offices, only to hear "we don't take no stinkin obamacare."
-
Hey Dummies, if it's working, why are Dims having to be prodded to make it a centerpiece of their campaigns? No one seems to be able to answer that.

Go ahead and shout over and over that it's working, DUmmy--nobody but the DUmbest DUmmies believe that BS.
Republicans should repeal but with a promise that If you like your Barrycare, you can keep your Barrycare. Not that anybody would want to keep it, but it would be funny to rub Barry's nose in it.

It's funny how threads with important subjects get far more replies over here than they do over there.

You can put lipstick on a pig and then tell the world it is a supermodel but nothing anyone can say will alter the fact that it is just a pig wearing lipstick.
