Post by: JohnnyReb on April 18, 2014, 10:46:29 AM
Yep, we need to legalize this stuff so DUmmie problem will cure itself.

Of course the DUmmies will say it's all the gun's fault.

I'd have to say that's impossible.  The vermin pushing weed on the public in this country have assured us that nothing like that could ever happen.  Only alcohol could have made this man commit this crime.

It's the new snake oil pushed by modern day snake oil salesmen like willcross.
I'm surprised AlGore isn't in on it.

I have never advocated drug use on this forum. I don't know where your getting this from?

Never ?
Referring to "Reefer Madness" is not advocating for pot ?
I gotta say, it looks very much to me like you were. But that's just me, and you probably have some elaborate excuse.
Go.

Yeah, it's an anti-pot public service type movie that warns about stuff exactly like the OP is talking about.

How could you misinterpret that as me saying ppl should take drugs?

I saw that movie back when I was a teen.    All it did for me was to make me curious and had pot been around back then I most likely would have tried it.

Now I want to know what kind of pain pills this man was on, for personal reasons.

Years ago my Dad was in the hospital and a friend smuggled him in a screw driver.   He was happy to drink it but after the visit ended his nurse arrived to give him a shot of Demerol. It didn't take long for the drug and Vodka to mix and he had to be restrained as he was seeing Lobsters crawling on his bed.   Not just every day lobsters but 15 pounders, so he decided to run for his life.    Poor Dad, no telling what would have happened to him had he managed to get out in the hall and run away.

Only years later when I met his "friend" and he told me about bringing in the cocktail for Dad was I able to link the drug and vodka to his very bazaar behavior.

So did this man mix pain pills with perhaps a beer then eat the candy ?

Odd a man would buy drug infused candy when there were 3 kids in the home that may have snitched a couple pieces
or a wife that did not want to eat at least one piece of candy.    What kind of man buys candy brings it home and not share with wife and kiddies?

Lots of questions here, will we ever know the whole story, most likely not but he was not on PCP so your guess is good as mine.  I wonder what the Coroners report on the wife's death showed about her state of health at the time.

Are you saying pot isn't harmful and cannot lead to use/abuse of more powerful drugs?

When you libs and potheads speak about that movie it's only in a sardonica sarcastic, and cynical manner. You use it as a way to point to all the hysteria surrounding the anti drug movements.
But, more and more research is coming out proving that your drug of choice has few benefits and many more dangerous side effects.
Even so I'm sure you will come up with another hairbrained offering to attempt to show your pro pot views in a good light, or attempt to discredit the anti drug side.
Go.

The very worse drug and life changing I ever took is and was tobacco.

Out side of a pesticide what the heck is it good for.    Sugar and tobacco are two of the worse addictions know so far to mankind.

Pot was often laced with paraquot, angel dust, formaldehyde and other chemicals. The anti drug forces used to find pot plots and spray them with herbicides. But if any pot plants survived, they were still processed for distribution.
So you got whatever herbicides that were on there as a bonus.
