UPDATE: Up to 5,000 Armed Militia Members Will Be Arriving in Bunkerville, Nevada Today

Apparently the far right fringe Militia types have got their collective panties in a bunch again, and they are actually thinking they might see some action. I wanted to post this in LBN but clearly there is no real news here. Am I right?

UPDATE: Up to 5,000 Armed Militia Members Will Be Arriving in Bunkerville, Nevada Today

http://www.shtfplan.com/headline-news/video-militias-are-on-route-is-the-2nd-american-revolution-starting-in-bunkerville-nevada_04102014

Update: Word on the street from sources close to the militia movement is that up to 5,000 armed militia members will be arriving in Bunkerville, Nevada sometime today. (See full report below)

SHTFplan.com Editor’s Note: It is apparent that the Federal government was under the impression that they could simply move into the ranch land surrounding Bunkerville, NV and have their way with the property and livelihood of the Bundy family. What they didn’t count on was the outcry from Americans across the country. And now things may be headed to the next level. As Kim Paxton of The Daily Sheeple notes, citizen militias in several states have been called up. Many members of those organizations are taking up arms and are making their way to Nevada.

And it’s not just the citizen militias that are preparing to take action. The governor of Nevada has officially condemned the federal government’s actions, though he has yet to take any steps afforded to him under State law. Sheriff Richard Mack of Gilbert, Arizona has weighed in and calls the actions “terrorism.”

In this day and age, the Feds are wrong. They are just wrong in almost every scenario. Definetely this one. Bundy ons the rights to the water, and something else I can't remember, and he was being held up to pay money he should not have to. Then, it was being used AGAINST him. People have a right to be pissed off. This whole thing isn't about turtles that are in danger. As per usual in issures pertaining to the Gvot, this is about power, and control.

11. Militia groups are not exactly known for their thoughtful analysis of situations

26. I did not defend

Pointed out there is something to the story. I guess, this being DU, it is what it is.

Then our old pal gNads gets in a fight with that pesky, and notorious "Name Removed." No idea what it was about though. Lol.

20. If there really got 5000 (bwahahahaha), law enforcement would be inadequate.

It would take soldiers. And in any situation short of a widespread insurrection that fragmented the military (which this sure as hell is NOT), soldiers are what they'd get. RIP, dumbasses.

Mind you, one of the reasons for militia is resistance to an oppressive government...that's pretty clear from the writings of the Framers. But preventing some assclown from illegally using public land isn't "oppressive" by any rational, sane definition.

Since when does any DUmmie know anything about "rational" or "sane?" That'd be like a 6 year old lecturing a full grown man how to drive. You know nothing about it.

18. I hope they remember to bring plenty of Cheetos and Mountain Dew

5000 350 lbs militia types will consume at least two 9.5 oz bags and wash it down with at least two 2 liter bottles of dew per day that comes out to:
5937.5 lbs Cheetos per day
5283 gallons of Mountain Dew

The local WalMart and 7-11’s better stock up other they will be confronted by angry hungry obese morons with guns.

I propose the memorial to the fallen militia types be a hand holding a gun with a crowbar prying the fingers off the gun.

I don't know if this is an actual DUchebag, or just a wannabe trying to hard, but the gall to post something like this to me is astounding. This is because I was down in Madison when the Walker protests were going on. I was on the other side with Vicki McKenna, Dana Loesch, and the like. The amount of cheeto eating, pot smoking, dreadlock wearing, vuvuzela blowing, capital shitting, smelly, dirty, rotten, loud, obnoxious assholes there protesting our honorable Gov was astounding. And this Lumpenunterprimitiven has the gall to say anything even remotely close to implicating OUR side to be this kind of animal? Gimme a break...

37. Apparently, he stopped paying the grazing fees. He doesn't even recognize the Federal Govt.

The Bureau of Land Management said at least 100 protesters showed up near the ranch on Monday. A lot of them believe the government is stealing the cows. But the BLM said the cows are grazing on federal land that the ranch has no right to.

"We operate within this state. We run cattle here, graze this natural resource off this public land and I abide by all of Nevada state laws but I don't recognize the United States Government as even existing," said Cliven Bundy.

Because of that belief, Bundy has not paid grazing fees. The government said he owes them around $1 million.

*snip*

The BLM maintains, "This is unfair to the thousands of other ranchers who graze in compliance with federal laws and regulations."
http://www.jrn.com/ktnv/news/Fight-brewing-between-rancher-and-federal-authorities-254286861.html

Clive Bundy rightly said "screw you," and stopped paying because the BLM was using his own money against him. I'd stop giving them "ammunition," too.

PS, the government, and the BLM can take it's "Eminent Domain" and stick it up it's ass.

Yep, five thousand.

Counted by the guy who confirmed the Million Man March.

It's a "Not One Damn Dime Day" for nuts.

Can you count them if they haven't arrived yet?

DUmmies can't even read a rental lease.

It is even cruel for anyone to expect them to understand a grazing contract that started back in the 1880s.  Kind of like expecting a kindergartener, of normal parents, to grasp nuclear physics.  Or chaos theory.  Mr. Bundy HAS complied with the terms of his family's original contract.  The desert tortoise, the area herbivores (undomesticated) thank him and his family.

I can't guess how many protestors or militia types will show up there.  I know that I can't.  I'd be neglecting injured people if I did.  :(

But, being a practical sort, I've sent an incredible amount of water and an equal amount of camp stools and kitty litter to the site of the main protest.

We are so much better that the Occupoopers.

The occupoopers wanted something they hadn't earned.  Very similar to the BLM wanting what is not theirs to have.

BTW -- the governor of NV?  Ooooh. shaking in my boots.  I swear he and the Clark Co. sheriff went to the Obama school of negotiation.  Wusses.  "Go home and suck a tit.  pansies."
