We will not sit down...We will not shut up!

(WNN) New York, New York, UNITED STATES, AMERICAS: Breaking the barrier between just viewing a film and actually creating humanitarian action surrounding human rights issues for girls, CNN FILMS has launched a new on-air platform to live stream the new film “Girl Rising” in hopes that global change for the world of girls and women can come as quickly as possible in a revolution that can ignite one community and ‘one house at a time’.

snip

“A girl is not defined by what society sees. A girl is defined by what a girl sees inside herself,” echoes the 10X10 mission, which is co-sponsored by Intel, The Documentary Group, and Vulcan Productions along with the work of CNN Films.

<snip>

Lots of pictures follow.

Supposedly they show women doing all sorts of empowering things.

Conspicuous by their absence:

* Models
* Females in the military
* Conservative women

Empowerment comes from within. Don't expect the government or even society to give you something, unless you are willing to give it to yourself. The props are there, it is up to a woman to want it, go out, and get it.

The only thing I can think of is liberals are so ****ing ugly inside they need all these groups, these identifiers, and then need to find a way to create a pulpit from which to speak all while making up a fake suppression of whatever group it may be.

I just don't see this issue with conservative women, gays, atheist, Christians, whatever it may be.

They seem to have a hard time mentioning how muzzies regard women.

Redqueen herself will tell you they are empowered and if you point out the forced wearing of the burka you'll get a "So, just keep 'em naked, huh?"

It's not just an illogical lie, it's a lot of money dumped into selling that lie to the young and gullible.

Exactly.  That's one reasons why I have no respect for, and discount these feminists groups.

Look what they just did to Ayaan Hirsi Ali, or didn't do.

3. Kick & recommended.

I will not sit down!

I will not shut up!

I will not be silent!

A couple of people are finding that out today.
K&R.  Any message that encourages the DUmmies to keep on running their stupid mouths is good for conservative cave.

What would her response be to genital mutilation I wonder?

As far as the song, "Break the Chains". I am still wondering to what chains do they refer?  The chains that bind them, are the chains they linked together themselves.

Get in the kitchen and stop wondering.

Are fuzzy handcuffs still an option?

I hate this whole "empowerment" BS. Maybe I'm blind but I've never felt like I was being objectified, or spoken down to, or belittled or anything else because of my sex. I guess I don't get out enough or something. We're all humans, we're all equal in His eyes and we all need to live together.

People like this are just perpetual shit-stirrers and I ignore them.

It's hard to be considered equal when you demand special treatment.

That's just what they want you to think.

They want you to feel respected and included so that you'll never suspect that you aren't.

Free your mind!

Exactly.   Although Marxism has proven itself, time and again, to be a colossal failure as a governing force, there were a few bright and twisted lights who were able to turn it into a money-making scheme.  Isn't that a hoot?  Capitalism is so robust a system that it can even make money out of its supposed nemesis.

The politics of oppression are a printing press for cash.  Just ask Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Gloria Steinem, et alia.

That's terrible! I'd be more than happy to lend my services if you feel the need to be objectified, I have references!

I'm not objectified too often, but when I want to be, I can make it happen.   :)
