This raises (not 'begs the question') the question of which fast food franchise Fizzwits works in. Did she get someone else to take her pre-employment drug screening?

i supervise a number of hs seniors at my job
i periodically go around and check to see who's turned 18 recently. if they have, i ask if they've registered to vote and encourage them to do so, telling them where they can go if they haven't done so. they're mostly young women, a few of them who came to the US as children.
i'm not allowed to talk to them about politics, but i explain to them why it's important to vote. they're all preparing for college, many wanting to study nursing or teaching. i tell them that voting can affect the cost of college, the fields they want to go into, the taxes they pay. i feel i have a responsibility to do this and need to start expanding my efforts to the other young adults at work.
their voices need to, and deserve to be, heard. i just hope they listen to me.

Saw that a minute ago, and almost drug it over.
i'm not allowed to talk to them about politics
We know full well that she does anyway. She hedges her next statements.

Working two ends against the middle....the very young and the very dead.

I'm surprised she doesn't advise them to register and vote multiple times, like a good democrat.

She works for a telephone call-center.

Are these people even legal citizens? Stop haranguing the help and get back to work, Fizz. Beer's not free.

I'll bet that fizz's boss makes less than ten bucks an hour.

Whoops, dupe. Sorry.
It happens.
Better two duplicates than having a thread over there that should be brought here, but isn't because one might be fearful it'd be a duplicate of what's already here.

I think one of the nice features of CC is the speed at which clean-ups are made, and the pleasant way it is done. H5 for that.
edited to add: I just rowed to the island and returned. Even now there are two threads about restrooms being shut in Florida (same subject line even), multiple OPs re Colbert and the Tonight show, different subject line but same general info in message block, and a couple on IRS and Rove - all on page 1 of GD.
Perish the thought a DUmmy express his thoughts in an existing thread, no, "Look at MEEEEEEE"

Maybe LFR helped her with her pre employment drug screen.

Ironic, there are very few young people at DU.

It is. It doesn't bode well for DU as an institution or the calcified geriatrics that occupy the Democratic Party.

The DUmp is filled with old hippies that don't know what to do.

....should they hold on to the old....should they grab on to the new.....well, is it free is the determining factor.
