Suicidal Refusal To Raise Taxes For Anything Even Dire Emergency Just Deranged.
Just returning from a staff infection that cost me my foot. Have been off grid for over a month. But little has changed as I return.
It is so sad to see that our present paranoia about raising taxes on anyone for anything continues unabated. In Oklahoma there is a kerfuffle about building much needed shelters in schools after all the recent tornado damage. They won't even raise taxes to protect their children. The statement that a ballot initiative to build shelters in Oklahoma will fail because it raises taxes if just unbelievable. I simply cannot understand why we are so tax terrified now. Something else has to be cut if we have to use money for disaster. This zero sum mentality that we are caught in lessens the economic and over all health of our nation.
We are all in this together yet we have forgotten that reality. We all sink or swim together. We must understand that our challenges are not about being Republican or Democrat. Mother nature does not care anything about your political believes. Mother natures wrath takes its toll on all sides of the political spectrum. As far as I am concerned we settle our differences and start bailing together or we all sink.
Somehow being off grid during my own personal challenge was kind of a blessing. Sure enough there is good news but there is far too little of it.
One wonders what he did, to make that happen.
-
Note to masterNUmbNUts. Y'all should have been sticking that foot in yer dirty mouth so often. :bird:
-
One wonders if the Master-(D)-bater - who hasn't been complaining about some negligent reich-winger who caused his initial foot injury, up to now - may be a fellow IV drug user with dear, departed Tavern-Turdburglar. Infections that get out of hand and require amputation in order to check the advance of the disease are common in the extremities of such DUmmies, due to the less than sanitary conditions which they find perfectly acceptable.
-
It's "Staph," mastersnumbskull. And it's easy to be for every tax initiative when you are a net taker from the public purse, it looks a whole lot different when you are one of the net payers, but aside from a couple of airhead trophy wives and lifelong trustfund beneficiaries who never had to earn their money in the first place, none of you numbskulls fall into that category.
-
Spoken like a true drain on society.
It's easy to spew this kind of garbage when you aren't the one ... uhhh ... footing the bill (shall we say?)
KC

Well now, I'm really curious.
Staphylococcus is a Gram-positive bacteria which includes several species that can cause a wide variety of infections in humans and other animals through infection or the production of toxins. Staphylococcal toxins are a common cause of food poisoning, as they can be produced in improperly-stored food. Staphylococci are also known to be a cause of bacterial conjunctivitis.
First of all, it's no wonder he couldn't call it by its real name.
But anyway, wouldn't such an infection be visually-observable long before amputation has to happen?
Didn't the guy ever look over his body for discolorations, sores, whatnot?
-
Just returning from a staff infection that cost me my foot, damn President Bush*!!!!
Fixed it for you, DUmmy.

Normally it develops slowly enough that it is easily detectable and treatable in a healthy person, although the 'Flesh-eating bacteria' (A highly antibiotic-resistant strain of staph) is fairly aggressive and fast-moving compared to other bacterial infections. Of course the DUmmies are notoriously unhealthy, and if he is the normal inactive DU overweight slob with 30 medical conditions including impaired circulation, edema in his legs and feet, filthy personal hygiene habits, and too much gut to see his feet, and that would also account for it getting out of control.

Having had staph infections (been a staph carrier since my early 20's, thanks to a shower in the wrong place), yeah; if you aren't paying attention to it, it'll easily get out of hand.
When it does, someone - well, someone who's mind hasn't been addled by the routine abuse of substances anyway - who had it would know within hours. The affected area swells, feels hot and turns bright red, and it becomes quite painful, like you expect the skin of the appendage to split like overripe fruit. Left untreated, the affected area will expand quickly, and eventually the reddened area will become necrotic (develop gangrene), which becomes evident by a greenish-black hue overtaking the red swollen area.
The sad thing is that when caught early, the infection is ridiculously responsive to treatment. The first time it cropped up on me, a two week course of amoxicillin knocked it back into a dormant state for over 4 years. On the second recurrence, it wasn't responsive to the first antibiotic they tried, and so a 2-week course of Keflex was necessary. There hasn't been a flare up since that time (mid-1997), though my doctors confirm that I remain a carrier, and likely always will be. All that means is that I have an added level of vigilance required of my hygiene habits in order to prevent the spread of the disease to anyone else, and make conditions as inhospitable as possible to new flare ups of the infection.

Well.
This DUmbass lost a foot.
The LVL lost a leg.
Doug Bulna lost an eye.
Pam Dawson lost part of her guts.
The deadbeat lifestyle is conducive to losing parts of one's body, from frostbite, knife fights, altercations with police, and lack of personal hygiene.
I think it's time for the CalPig to petition Skimmer and his flunkies for a Dead Body Parts forum.
It's time for a forum set aside to celebrate a hunk of DUmmymeat slithering across the Rainbow Bridge.
It would allow for some recognition before the entire DUmmy is dead and, really, a dead DUmmy part is better than no dead DUmmy at all.

Thanks, sir, and Tanker too.

I guess the DUmbass had to cut loose.....footloose. :-)

There is the regular MRSA version of that too, DT... the non flesh eating version. I understood that the flesh eating version can be both MRSA and non MRSA. Then there are the versions that eat your flesh really fast too.
Whatever... I damn sure don't want any of it!!!! :cheersmate:

Seeing how the primitives forget everything, it would be good if we would make sure our list of dead DUmmymeat is kept up-to-date, so they have an accurate list to go by- basically the same thing they did when they populated the names in the Dead DUmmy forum.
Sadly, I think the chances of getting a dead primitive parts forum are the same as getting Calpig to close her mouth before someone takes a photo.

As someone with more than a passing interest in biology--I majored in it in college--it would seem that you'd have to have some sort of pain, or soreness, in the affected area; enough that you'd figure out that something was wrong there, and it needed immediate attention. I think that you're onto something with the 'drugs' causing some sort of ignorant reaction to the alarm that the MasturbatingNumbskull's body was raising. Neurons weren't firing the way they're supposed to. Oh well; it ain't me. I would have done something and gone to my primary care doctor, if only to satisfy my wife. O-)

Unless he/she/it has diabetes. Dad had it and toward the end he would run his foot into things, cut it wide open and never know it.

Tends to play right into DAT's assessment of the situation as well, then.

He's bitching about people bitching about paying higher taxes. He wanted his foot removal done for "free" and paid for by others.

Correction: he loses a foot, and he's bitching about taxes not being HIGH ENOUGH... :thatsright:

Of course.
When one is gone from the dump for any length of time, the obvious thing to do when one comes back, is to stump for more taxes.

Fixed it for you, DUmmy.
H5...the BFEE was also involved!!!

Maybe Master Peg Leg got swindled by one of those crooked doctors Barry warned us about.
All I'm saying is let's take the example of something like diabetes, one of --- a disease that's skyrocketing, partly because of obesity, partly because it's not treated as effectively as it could be. Right now if we paid a family -- if a family care physician works with his or her patient to help them lose weight, modify diet, monitors whether they're taking their medications in a timely fashion, they might get reimbursed a pittance. But if that same diabetic ends up getting their foot amputated, that's $30,000, $40,000, $50,000 -- immediately the surgeon is reimbursed. Well, why not make sure that we're also reimbursing the care that prevents the amputation, right? That will save us money

So impress us all, primitive. Let's see you write a big check to the federal gov't far above and beyond what you owe (should you owe anything, which I doubt) and lead the way with your own wallet.
Well, we're waiting.........

Let's keep it simple:
**** you and your foot, Numbskull.

Just returning from a staff infection that cost me my foot.
I'd advise everyone to stay away from NJCher's stew for a while.

It is of course much more complex then the free money intellect of a primitive.

Oh? What's your tax bill, numbnutz? I'll wager far less than most productive people.
I simply cannot understand why we are so tax terrified now. This zero sum mentality that we are caught in lessens the economic and over all health of our nation.
Seen the cost of living lately? You want to make it worse with more taxes?
Zero Sum?
Dafuq are you talking about, economic illiterate?
We are all in this together yet we have forgotten that reality. We all sink or swim together.
No we're not and no we won't. I couldn't give two shits if your blue hell hole goes down the tubes. I expect it and it won't affect me in the slightest, nor do I care. You will feel pain. I will feel nothing, but schadenfreude, dipshit.
