3. southwestern style stuffed peppers

That sounds delicious, Auggie.

I'm making a variation of stuffed peppers. It will be southwestern style stuffed peppers with taco-flavored hamburger, onions, garlic, and tomatillo in tomato sauce. I made my own taco seasoning. Also I did fresh cranberry beans to go in it, too. It's so easy with the pressure cooker.

Will top with cheese and chopped jalapenos.

For a salad, I think it's just going to be a tossed. If I have the energy, I may try to do something interesting, but I probably won't. It's been a writing day for me. I've been writing legal papers, references for students to get into grad school, and that type of thing all day long and I am coming up on the finish line so it's time to relax for the evening.

Maybe she got them fixed so they fit now.

6. bean soup ish

i've had this dried bean mix just hanging out in the cabinet for some time and i figured it's time to use it. had the bone from a pork shoulder roast hanging out in the freezer, so i tossed it in there. i'll serve it with the rest of last night's cornbread.

No wonder fizz's old man is dumping her.

She's crazy, she's a pothead, and she's an abominable cook.

Three strikes.

I don't think that NJCher's stuffed peppers sound very good at all.  Taco meat was meant to be enhanced by other stuff with it, not just forkfuls of it.  You know, the sour cream, cheese, lettuce, etc.

What's with the red asterisks?
It denotes a common contraction of vegetables. DUmmies love to use it.
Same with kittehs and puppehs.

Ooooo, DUmpmonkehs!  :yahoo:

What's with the red asterisks?

There are a few words so cutesy, so childish, that some folks prefer not to even see them in print, e.g., v****e and t***y.

It's the cranberry beans she put in with it, that got me.  Yuk

What's with the red asterisks?

To make reading the primitive comments more palatable.

One has to agree that people in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s still using baby-talk to describe food suggests severely-arrested development.
