Title: Mozilla/Firefox .. Catching Hell
Post by: mrclose on April 05, 2014, 08:49:37 PM

Even some gays are giving them a Whatfor!

Quote
As a Lesbian, I'm shocked at what you did to Mr. Eich all under the pretext of 'tolerance' and 'diversity'. Do you know you violated California employment law? What a bunch of truckling cowards you are. Diversity indeed. I'm sure when the political/social winds shift once again, you'll be assuring the public how anti-gay you are. Phonies.

Quixotic. Reminds me of the backlash Perez Hilton got for treating Carrie Prejean.

J.C. Penney fires CEO after plummeting sales following gay ad campaign (http://www.lifesitenews.com/news/j.c.-penneys-fires-ceo-after-plummeting-sales-following-gay-ad-campaign)

Quote
Now, months after the experiment failed, J.C. Penney has fired Johnson and replaced him with the former CEO, Myron Ullman.

Hinting that the problems are more political than the media is reporting, Ullman said bluntly,

Whether the retailer will learn from its mistakes is yet to be seen. But J.C. Penney's freefall should serve as a warning to other companies who are itching to jump on the same-sex bandwagon. Pandering to those who want to redefine marriage (and the rest of society with it) may earn you a pat on the back from the Human Rights Campaign, but in the long term, it's bad policy.

Chick-Fil-A dethrones Kentucky Fried Chicken in sales with fewer locations (http://www.examiner.com/article/chick-fil-a-dethrones-kentucky-fried-chicken-sales-with-fewer-locations)

Quote
Even though CEO Dan Cathy had public relations issues for merely coming out as a pro-traditional marriage supporter in 2012, it did not stop the juggernaut chicken franchise to not only pass KFC, but created a respectable distance in the top position by nearly a billion dollars in sales.

Hmmmm.....it will be interesting to see how Mozilla fares after this.

Looks like the gay gestapo's tactics don't get their desired results.

I uninstalled Firefox from my computers yesterday. Who needs business of people who practice and support traditional marriage when you can be the browser of choice for the 2% who practice the active same-sex lifestyle? I predict Firefox will continue its path to irrelevancy.

So sad, never used Firefox so won't have the satisfaction of getting rid of it. Glad that others are dumping them.

Don't bother.  With all the updates they put out, it's like trying to use a pair of suitcases that are always half-full.

He was forced out.

The creepy bass turd co-founder of the website that started this whole witch hunt was on F&F this morning.

He tried to make it sound like this isn't what they wanted, for Eich to get fired and that Mozilla got it all wrong.

Yeah right.  They must be getting a lot of negative feed back from some of their gay members, for their gestapo methods.

They're up to 34,938 messages, at Mrclose's first link, the vast majority pissed off.  Still time to leave more.  I'm not sure what their business model is though.  How do they make their money?

For those who use Firefox and want to change .. I just installed Pale Moon.

It works Great.

Since Firefox is open source, Pale Moon is based on the source code but in no way are they connected to Mozilla.

If Mozilla was hoping to avoid controversy by edging out former CEO Brendan Eich, the company has most certainly failed. The graph below comes from the feedback page (https://input.mozilla.org/en-US/?selected=7d&date_start=2014-03-28) on their site. This chart goes back to when the comment system was adopted, and the highest number of “sad” comments is today, by a factor of about two. The second highest number came yesterday.
