Title: Nutcase nadin Demonstrates Journo Work
Post by: GOBUCKS on March 29, 2014, 08:07:56 PM
Once again, nutcase nadin gives the DUmmies a glimpse behind the curtain.

They have no idea how much work goes into their local pennysaver blog.

Here, some fun stuff I get to read (Climate Change)

this is from a document released by the County of San Diego Water Authority...

"Climate Change Science
There is general consensus among the scientific community that certain human activities have caused in- creases in atmospheric blah, blah, moonbat, blah....

Mitigation and Adaptation

Two potential response paths can address the risks posed by climate change: mitigation and adaptation. Mitigation acts to reduce the magnitude of future cli- mate change, and adaptation acts to adjust to the new conditions or moderate their impacts. Mitigation efforts include reducing GHG-emitting activities or developing additional GHG capture systems (such as tree-planting); these efforts are the focus of this CAP. Blah, blah, more moonbat blah..."

Why am I pointing to this? Real discussion on Climate Change is happening, and it is not even a discussion anymore. It is well established.

Now back to the policy document. another 200 pages of this fun stuff to slough my way through.

So, DUmmies, this is just a little of what a pro journo "sloughs" through to bring the news to Crazy Miriam's blog.

And it's all in a foreign language.

Hey, wait a minute!

Wasn't that meat she just posted?

Why does the cousin always point out how much work she does, what big sacrifices she makes?

I mean, it's not as if anyone asked her to, or told her to, do these things.

Wait.....everybody who is sCieNcY knows it's taxes that ingest CO2, not trees and plants.

C'mon.......

In the 70s and 80s it was a new ice age that never happened. Then came global warming. When no one burned up they settled on simply “Climate Change”.  A good choice actually because with such a generic name it doesn’t matter if it warms up or cools down, but that’s neither here nor there.

I want to focus on the “it is well established” phrase. The faux journalist/medic/historian/every-thing-else-under-the-sun that displays less intelligence than a rat carcass with the dead brain removed thinks that because a handful of people have been screaming “the sky is falling” in some form or other for the last 40 or so years the item screamed about should be considered gospel. Set in stone. Not doubted. Followed without question. Okey-dokey.

For the last 6000+ years innumerable people have been professing the existence of God. For the last 2000+ years innumerable people have been professing the divinity of Jesus Christ. I guess that makes it settled. Well established. To be defended by the faux journalist/photog/milk-collector/every-thing-else-under-the-sun at least as stridently as she has defended climatic [sic] change.

"Climate science" has become this century's phrenology.

In the 1800s, phrenology was an established, settled science.

Of course it was bullshit, but any Victorian scientist who said that was ridiculed and shut out of his profession.

It was just like "climate science" except without the anti-American component.

I had to look that up.  And, I know that certain "bumps" on my head influenced my intelligence.

Sorry for going off topic.

Those phrenology bumps were cured by a real science...leeching.
Leeching was cured by another real science, acupuncture !
This story is beginning to remind me of the kingdom overrun by mice.

4. But, but a nice sharp quake means

a nice story... with photos and everything.

On a serious note we went and bought our helmets for the fire season and the rest of the crap we still needed. So in a very serious note, we do have the safety gear needed. (I know the difference from structural and wild land helmets, but as a reporter the wild land will do. I am not going in. If I have to do that, we are having other issues)

Nice try, nads:

http://www.sdfoundation.org/Portals/0/Newsroom/PDF/Reports/ClimateActionPlanning.pdf

And what's on the SD Water Authority website?  A two paragraph press release.

200 pages.  Is that anywhere near 60 centimeters?

GloBULL warming has become such a cult that many of its devotees are becoming borderline dangerous.

Climate change is real.......it's going to be hot as hell in S.C. soon......just like last June, July, August of last year.

I think this is yet another instance of gNads' hubris.

No one has suggested she does NOT know the difference, but inasmuch as there are many different types of both, why would she make such a simple statement but fail to tell us which one she got and how it is configured - a 'good rig for the head' so to speak.

I imagine that other than ex-submariner husband, two conures, and discussion boards she has no one else in real life to talk to, and this leads her to the tendency to talk down to whoever might be reading her word salad on the various screens.

Oh, for ****'s face. What in the hell is gNads talking about? She's a 4 foot tall, 4 foot wide hunchbacked Ben Franklin impersonator in a surplus Civil Defense helmet, Nomex muu-muu, and combat boots filled with peanut butter. What is she going to do if she "goes in"?

Lurking DUmmies - gNads IS DU. That batshit delusional insanity is an accurate sample of your website, and you. I don't know whether to thank you all or damn you all for that.

And as she pointed out to the DUmmies in an earlier boast, her helmet has a crest that says "media".

Poor addled Tom's helmet says "I'm with stupid".

Yet another journo expense that Crazy Miriam refuses to pay.

Personally, I'd love to see nads in full FR gear in 100 degree weather.

If we're lucky, she'll just heatstroke out.

So, you've probably been hoping to see the article that resulted from nadin's analysis of that 200-page water department document.

She read it, studied it, analyzed it, considered it all carefully, read public statements from every moonbat group she could find, and then wrote an article that Crazy Miriam buried about three-quarters of the way into her latest blog.

I thought it would be bad, but au cntrainere, it's worst. Makes me want to go get a riffle.

Anyway, you were dying to read it, so here it is:

http://www.eastcountymagazine.org/node/15291

A real spellbinder.

You welcome.

Climate change is real.......it's going to be hot as hell in S.C. soon......just like last June, July, August of last year.

Followed, amazingly enough, by a equal [sic] period of time by gradually cooling "Climatic Change". This period used to be called Autumn and Winter.

WOW! Intriguing how that works. Where's my grant money?

The whole damn thing is a cut and paste.  Is there any actual reporting here?

Heh. You seen that, too. No spelling or grammatical errors. Unless Nadin tripped, fell down and hit her head on a rock, I don't think she wrote that.

She could save herself a lot of worry and toil if she just gave up her wannabee fixation on being bright, relevant and likable. Ain't gonna ever happen.
