I didn't bring it over because it's kpete-ish.
There is a disturbing, I think, trend over at the island whereby they rely entirely on what other folkes produce in order to craft an OP.
I think nadin is making this thing popular. All it requires is a meme (I hate that word). No comment, no follow up nothing.
It's just a prefab OP, bolt it into place and you are done.
LFR seems to have finally found out that she no longer needs to engage her brain to post on the DUmp. I find it to be an unsettling trend.
It's not noteworthy but it's here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/10024746288

GE (Government Electric) parks all of it's profits off shore and doesn't pay taxes, but that's okay with the DUmmies.....

"Here is why the Koch Brothers are evil"
"ChimpyMcBushHitler" and "The BFEE rule our world"
etc....

High-five for that.
This has been one of my bitches for years, the primitives promiscuously posting youtube links with no text to explain what it's all about.
And now pictures, with none of their own commentary.
It's very lazy and inconsiderate, but what can one expect from the primitives, I suppose.

There is a reason to the madness.
With the DUmmy civil war going on, simply expressing an opinion will offend someone and get you banned.
Posting a cut and paste job is the safest thing a DUmmy can do.

When did she actually engage it the first time?

DU has become Facebook.

That's rich, LFR complaining about someone else not paying taxes.

I can really sink my teeth into your post. Short, succinct, to the point, yet layered with keen insight and imagery.

I certainly agree, but we've had some posters that were just as bad, and snotty about it on top of that if anyone said anything to them about it. It's not a big deal to post something like that as a comment in a developed thread, but to OP a thread with some lengthy uncommented bandwidth-eating video, no matter how brilliant you think it is or how much it supposedly 'Speaks for itself,' is just spam.

Yeah, it's kind of like a child complaining about how her parents spend their money when she is the beneficiary of much of it in the first place. One thing about her is evident though; she's got unending chuzpah to be so flagrantly arrogant to have an opinion of someone's diminishing resources when she's the reason why those resources are diminishing. Really, unless she's a mole, but a buttmunch she is!

Well, I'm a bit relieved.
From the title, I thought EK had paddled over again and offered his hand in friendship, only to be soundly rejected.
BTW, The Tucson Tart, can ESAD.

30. It looks like that is factually untrue
If you go to the Duke annual report to share holders (independently audited, compliant with SEC reporting rules, etc) the most recent is the current 2013 report: https://www.duke-energy.com/pdfs/Annual-Report-2013.pdf
You have to wade through to page 87 to get to the critical profit and loss statement, where they list "income before taxes", "Income tax expense", and "net income". The sum for income before taxes for the last three years is about $4.2 billion. The sum of the taxes paid for the last three years is about $1.4 billion...which is a fairly healthy rate.
I would hope that anyone interested in the topic would take a minute to fact check claims like this. If a corporation is actually paying about the correct tax rate, these days that commendable!
Looks like Amber got called out on her BS story.

Sad part. Ten or so more comments after that, all whining about Duke not paying taxes. :banghead:
What a pack of sheep.
