My son has health insurance.

He's over 25, a very poor hard-working college student with a low-paying part-time job. He called me a week ago to tell me he'd signed up for a Silver plan.

$30 a month, in Georgia even. Would've cost $300+ without Obamacare. It still costs $300+, but someone else is paying the remainder He was prepared to pay the fine, but tried the website again and found out he could get a plan her can afford.

Wow, what a relief. One less HUGE thing to worry about.
Why do the DUmmies never seem to give a thought as to where the $ for the subsidies come from?

Socialism is a great idea until you run out of other people's money.

And that day cometh right soon, ****tards.

Hmmm, wait 'til the bills come in, and the DUmmy learns about co-pays and deductibles.

DUmmie starts off saying....."My son has health insurance."... and ends with ...  "a plan her can afford."

I believe she has bigger problems than Obamacare.

Your son at a young age is now a parasite.

The nut didn't fall very far from the DUmbass tree.

I was in my mid 30's, I think, before I got steady insurance that was worth a damn.  I don't recall running around wringing my hands about not having it and I went to the Dr. several times.  I just paid for it out of my own pocket.

I don't remember having huge conversations with my folks about it either.

That's because you weren't a limp wristed waste of skin expecting everyone to pay your way like the DUmbasses spawn does.

When he graduates and gets a decent job, he will be paying for that $ 300 difference for himself and another $300 for someone else's insurance.....for the rest of his life.  Enjoy.

Well, if he's poor, he's still going to have problems coming up with the $6000 deductible, and then the portions that aren't paid by health insurance.

I don't see where the poor student is any better off than he had been before; and possibly he's worse off now.

That has bothered me since the beginning. I think that Obamacare is just so they can get a foot in the door...."I got health insurance. You have to treat me."

A lot of Obamacare patients are going to stick whoever, whatever with the first $6,000 cost plus 20% or 40% thereafter.....and you and me are going to be stuck with paying off their nonpayment portion of the bill. In other words, those of us who can pay will be required to pay even more in the future for medical services.....Obama's way of redistributing some of our hard earned wealth......communist bastard :argh:

I don't think anyone could have designed a worse program, unless it was done on purpose, to put everyone out of business to have the government move in and take over the whole medical profession.

Communist bass turds is right.

I need proof to believe such a story.  And not a fake three-party check.

How about a notarized letter written by a guy who just goes by " Butch"?  Will that suffice?

Am I right in thinking that a 'silver plan' under Obamacare roughly means that if he's collapsing in pain, then a couple of paracetamol will only cost him $200 each?

Our hospital is now refusing service for the non-insured (non emergent) unless they pay 50% of the estimated charge and sign a payment contract. And they are FINALLY requiring that you present your ID and Insurance card with each visit.

I like the fact that I now know what hospitals to head to that will not be full of Obamacare deadbeats.  In NH half of the hospitals are now off limits to wee willie.

One of our largest teaching hospitals isn't part of California's version of Obamacare.  That really surprised me.

Here in glorious Peoples Republic of Kalifornia silver plan is exact plan as catastrophic plan was except deductible higher, co-pay higher, and get free birth control, children's vision and dental. It is glorious insurance comrades, GLORIOUS!!
