Yee; "hey, it worked for Obama and he didn't get arrested"
That's because Obama is half black. Yee is Asian and doesn't represent a large enough voting block for the D's. If Yee was a transvestite he would have been safe.
-
It said several arrests......got as gang of democrats, huh?

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Sources confirm State Senator Leland Yee has been indicted for public corruption.
A series of search warrants are being executed by the FBI across the Bay Area this morning. ABC7 News has learned they are making numerous arrests in a widespread sweep involving suspected gang members.
One of the searches is taking place at the San Francisco Chinatown office of the Gee King Tong Free Masons and is linked to the arrest this morning of Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow.

Funny that it wasn't until the 8th paragraph that it mentioned he was a DemocRat. If he was a Republican it would have been in the headline.

Whew, there's enough there to put that little bastard in the clink for the rest of his days.
-
Wow....the bass tard is anti-gun for the public while he is trafficking guns illegally.

This is the third California democrat state senator with legal problems in the past month and should get rid of the dems super majority in the Senate

One of the guys at Calguns "Trenchfoot" waded through the indictment and pulled the highlights. :cheersmate:

Ok, on page 66 one of Yee's associates, Keith Jackson, told an FBI undercover employee (UCE) that Yee was working with an unnamed arms trafficker to ship weapons into an unnamed foreign country. Jackson conducted several illegal arms sales to the UCE, and had discussions with the UCE on Yee introducing him to the arms dealer. He also instructed the UCE to raise additional campaign funds for Yee.
Page 78: Looks like Yee was afraid to meet the UCE and did everything through Jackson. Jackson told the UCE that he and Yee were going to meet with the arms dealer to hash out a plan for them to meet. Jackson seemed also to be in the murder for hire business, as the UCE asked him to have someone killed and Jackson asked for race and residence, and said he would talk with some of his associates.
Page 80: Jackson states that Yee had a Filipino associate supplying heavy weapons to rebels in the Philippines. UCE gave a donation to the Yee campaign to further grease the wheels in getting the introduction.
Page 81: UCE finally speaks to Yee on the phone about the donation and meeting his associate.
Page 83: Discussing the weapons deal, Yee tells the UCE that this kind of business "Is not for the faint of heart", and then tells the UCE that Jackson will be conducting the transaction because Yee trusted Jackson. Yee goes into a lot of detail about the dealer and weapons on this page. Yee says the dealer trusts him and would listen to him. The weapons he gets are sourced from Russia.
Page 84: More details indicating Yee has been working with this arms dealer for a number of years, including a trip to the Philippines where he was surrounded "by armed guards with machine guns" when dealing with his associate. They also discuss shoulder fired weapons and fully auto weapons to the tune of between $500,000 and $2.5M.
Page 85: Yee is apprehensive about introducing UCE to the dealer directly, because he didn't want to lose out on money if he was not needed as a middleman.
Page 91: Jackson tells UCE about Yee's Filipino connection for weapons and asked UCE to raise $50,000 more dollars for Yee's campaign.
Page 93: Yee and Jackson meet UCE at a restaurant. UCE asks Yee what was taking so long with the arms dealer, and Yee stated that he needed to be careful because of a recent indictment of another state senator.
Page 94: Yee stresses that the arms dealer won't sell anything to UCE unless Yee is involved. Yee also tells UCE that he has other sources for weapons.
Page 95: More discussion of the deal. Yee admits to being unhappy with his life and wanting to go hide in the Philippines.
Page 96-97: Jackson tells UCE that Yee wants to shift to a different dealer in the Philippines because his source for the Russian weapons was tied up with what was going on over there. Yee asks for more campaign contributions.
Page 98: Yee and UCE discuss logistics of deal with the Filipino arms dealer.
Page 99: Yee asks for a list of weapons and said he would see what he could do. Yee and UCE talk about business ventures once Yee was Secretary of State. Yee states that Africa is largely untapped for the weapons trade.
Page 100: Yee introduces UCE to the Filipino contact, a Mr. Lim.
Page 101-102: UCE and Lim discuss the types of weapons he wants.
Page 103 begins the details on Yee and Jackson fraud scheme.

Makes sense. Remove the legal guns, let the gangs control the streets, and get paid.

Good. :yahoo:

This is the same asshat who went on a crusade against video games like Call of Duty because they are too violent. On a more humorous note, the group Yee was running guns to in the Philippines was the Morro Islamic Liberation Front...or MILF.

Damn! This one beats the 'padding of expense account' NYS Assemblyman by a mile!

I smiled when I seen this on the news.

It's SF. Republicans are rarer there than purple with pink polka dot camels.
But yeah, it would have been.
Ironic how a guy who authored so much anti-gun legislation was nailed for trying to import RPG's from the Philippines, of all places.

Way to go, Californuckistan.

Tasty indeed.
It seems that whenever you find a crooked politician, they're almost always anti-gun.
MAG, brady, the demanding moms, and the others, never explain why that is.

Some info about 2 of the other players in this criminal enterprise:
Keith Jackson, former President of the San Francisco school board, ran on a platform of family values when campaigning for that office. His son, also charged in the indictment, was making $50K a week selling drugs.
Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow, who was endorsed by Democratic luminaries such as Gavin Newsome and Diane Feinstein for reforming his life after crime, is a TV star. The History Channel's "Gangland" devoted a entire episode on his doings in the 70's with the Chinese gangs of San Francisco. Also DHS has been trying to deport him, unsuccessfully, for being an illegal immigrant.

Oh wow , didn't realize he was involved with this current news with Lee. I watched that Gangland Episode, chow is very articulate as are most Gang leaders.
Just doing the jobs Americans won't do such as being the leader of the Triad in US or at least SF area.
-
This criminal enterprise of running guns from Russia to the U.S. with the involvement of Chinese gangs in the bay area is very similar to the story line of the T.V. series Sons of Anarchy.

I would love to see this posted over at the DUmp.
Here is a thread on it, but it has turned into the usual head bashing crap fest.

Token Republican (242 posts)
Leland Yee should be nominated for an award
Leland Yee has led the fight in California against guns. He has sponsored legislation that would strengthen California's already strict gun control laws even more. Sen Leland Yee fought against the dreaded bullet button loophole that allows gun owners to legally skirt California's assault weapon ban.
A google search of Sen. Leland Yee will tell more about this amazing man and his character.
